Vacation rentals with a firepit in Chippewa County

A group of friends gets together every year for a girls' weekend, and this was one of our favorite places to date. The home is beautiful - open spaces with lots of light and great views. Additionally, Nicole was a wonderful host. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift as well as her responsiveness and flexibility. To top it off, the house is incredibly clean and check out was an easy process. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the backyard and being on the lake. The backyard is so peaceful and large. I also appreciated that the bathroom was fully stocked with toilet paper, that there was an abundance of towels, and that the fridge was stocked with bottled waters. Those were nice small touches. If we were back in the area, we would definitely stay there again!

I hosted Christmas with my family this weekend. We had 4 generations and family I only see once a year. This home was everything we needed and more. The kids enjoyed playing downstairs (even the 50 year old kid). We enjoyed the frozen lake. It was a perfect place to send off our floating lanterns. There was plenty of space for preparing and serving a big lunch. The extra kitchen downstairs was perfect for our hot chocolate bar, drinks and treats. Our only complaint was that time moved extra fast there.

Wonderful and peaceful place to stay! The house was huge and perfect for multiple families with ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was clean and matched the description perfectly. The location is right on the water and was a very beautiful surrounding. Highly recommend for family gatherings or if you just want some tranquil time away from home.

Julie was extremely responsive and helpful in preparation as well as while on property. She also helped navigate activities and provided exceptional referrals. The property was fantastic and provided a very relaxing and refreshing visit.

My roommates and I were looking for a lovely, peaceful place to have our get together and this beautiful place did not disappoint. The rolling river in the back yard was our favorite place and we enjoyed relaxing on the porch, playing cards and sharing stories and watching the beautiful, lively river. It is also a wonderful place to rent for artists as there is such an inspirational scene to paint right out the back door. The home was beautifully decorated and made us feel right at hime. The kitchen was well equipped. Thank you to Mary Jo for allowing us to enjoy your lovely home!

Eileen was a wonderful hostess. Her house and property are beautiful, and the clear view of the stars at night are gorgeous as well. Eileen is very accommodating and has thought of everything to ensure that I had the best experience. She thought of every possible thing i could have forgot to pack and had extras if needed. She offers information on local shopping, dining, and outings while extending the invite to enjoy her vast, beautiful property. I loved my stay and am hopeful I will get back someday. Laurie and Bill were wonderful hosts. They were fast to take us in, respond to us, and give us great recommendations in the area. The place was right on a lake with plenty to do and we had a great time sitting on the swings.

We came with 3 children 5, 3, 18 months. This was a very simple vacation of hiking trails, nature centers and a lake that they could enjoy and partake in, ending with a campfire and somores!! What can top that !! Our stay of 7 days went way to quickly!

The cabin was a beautiful little get away. We were able to have a wonderful family Christmas away from the craziness of the cities. Hosts were extremely friendly and easy to connect with when needed. Highly recommend and hopefully next time will be in the summer.

Where do I begin? This place is wonderful! We escaped for a few days for much needed R&R and spent our days at this beautiful cabin, fishing, kayaking, swimming, and sitting by the fire pit. The place was well appointed and equipped with everything we needed. So many thoughtful touches! Also, we loved that the small town of Bloomer was nearby for a quick grocery run. Bloomer also had several cute little shops, including a great coffee shop and bakery. We loved seeing the wildlife, which included otters swimming, loons, and a pair of owls who hung around the cabin and were curious about us. Fishing was not that great, at least big fish were lacking, but it was still fun to try! Also, I read other reviews about the smell of the water, but most people should know that this is pretty common in the area (high iron content?) and it didn’t bother us at all. We highly recommend this lovely stay and would love to return again in the future!

What a wonderful place to stay! It felt like I was at home, with all of the amenities I needed. Patrick made sure that the dock got put in before we arrived so we could fish, and having access to the canoe and kayak was awesome. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Great place to stay. Beautiful view of the water from the back window. We stayed in the spring, so did not use the boat dock or the extra building used like a screened porch for eating outside or playing games. The place was extra clean and had nice decor. Would stay there again.

This cabin is so charming and more spacious than we suspected. Great view of the lake and LOVE the Pine Drive bar and restaurant within walking distance!

Very quiet beautiful area, many places to go fishing in the surrounding area. If you need Wi-Fi due to no service big minnow in has free Wi-Fi. Other than that everything is what you’d expect in a nice Midwest getaway!
