Had a perfect stay at this beautiful apartment in the lovely San Gusme village. Elvira was an amazing host, going out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Had some amazing local recommendations and was overall a faultless host. The village and scenery is unbelievable with plenty to do nearby - we rented a car which I do heavily recommend as the location is somewhat remote. Zero complaints!! Had an amazing trip and would definitely return. Thank you Elvira! ❤️❤️

For our first visit to Tuscany we couldn't have imagined or hoped for a better experience or hosts. Driving over the last hill at dusk we saw before us the welcoming sight of the villa and vineyards. The villa comfortably accommodated eight of us. We cooked and shared some yummy meals. The bedrooms were spacious, quiet and dark, each had their own ensuite. In the yard was a pool and plenty of areas to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and a view of the valley below. It is a quiet and relaxing place, no noisy traffic or neighbours at all. I will remember our stay very fondly and hope that it won't be too long before we can return. We were there for five nights, none of us really wanted to leave. Our host Sam gave us a tour of the vineyard and explained the backstory of the villa and the process of making their delicious wine and olive oil. So, anyone trying to decide where to stay in Tuscany, rest assured that this villa and its host will make many happy and treasured memories.

Because of the gorgeous remoteness, it took us some time to locate the entrance gate, but then we entered heaven. The place is captivating in so many ways - the historic stone structure, the entrancing views, the homey & artistic decor. It was like visiting a friend and being welcomed into a warm family retreat. Prepare to cocoon as there is no nearby store and few restaurant options. The roads were in poor condition due to recent severe storms, so it was an adventure to make our way in the evening to Castellina for dinner and back . The road in the opposite direction toward Radda was completely closed! But I loved our short stay and will dream of returning.
