Monthly Rentals in Closeburn

I stayed at Jaq’s for my wedding the night before with my bridesmaids and the night of with my new husband. It was the most beautiful place in the perfect location, just a short drive to the wedding location and not far from local shops. The cottage had everything you could think of and the beds were so comfortable. We loved our stay so much, we will definitely be back.

Christa’s place was stunning!! The house is so welcoming and warm. We will 100% book again. Christa was friendly and nothing was a hassle for her. We were devastated we didn’t get to explore the property or art gallery (due to us being busy visiting family). It’s a beautiful relaxing place to get away with so many things close by. Perfect romantic weekend getaway as well!

The accomodation was very clean and comfortable, with everything that we could possibly need for our stay provided. We chose not to cook, but could have done just about anything that we wanted to. We needed and wanted a relaxing weekend and had exactly that. As well as sight seeing an area that we were unfamiliar with, We very much enjoyed just sitting on the comfortable lounge outside, amongst lovely plants and trees and watching the cows, birds, and horses. There was even an elective supply of books and local information, and, as an ardent reader, I could have spent a lot more time there just relaxing. Many thanks to Robyn and Glen for exactly the right weekend for us at that point in time.

The Sheppard Hut was a lovely little cabin. it was very clean and had a good supply of basic needs. Exactly as described in the pictures, very good to just relax and read a book, as no TV. 5 minutes to cafes, pubs and local shops. A true place to get away with the added bonus for us, rain! Just made it all part of the ambience. Thank you Charles for a quaint place to stay.
