Family-friendly vacation rentals in Colon

If you are not familiar with Quito, I think La Floresta is one of the best neighborhoods in Quito. I’d guess there are over 30 restaurants within a 2 block radius of this apartment with anything from hotdogs to sushi and anything in between. High priced to low prices. It’s also a short walk to a supermarket, pharmacies, banks. I was a bit surprised when I entered the apartment, as it was more elegant than the pictures showed. I found Alejandro to be easy to work with, although work may slow his response. Overall I expect I will be back in this apartment again.

Location: Hotel Casa Elena is located an 8min bus ride ($0.35) from the central historic district of Quito. The busstop is in front of the hotel. If you prefer to sleep peacefully away from noise of the city then this is the place for you. There are low-priced family owned; restaurants, grocery stores and bakeries within a 5 to 15 min walk. This is Andes ⛰️ so there are HILLS! Accommodations: Casa Elena is a family run hotel. Dario is the host and he is very affable and responsive to any question or request. The room is a small studio with an en-suite restroom, a basic kitchen, and a large window which allows you to enjoy the gentle rushing of the nearby river, the FRESH AIR, and the peace and quiet which is unavailable at more centrally located locations. The gym is well appointed with options for; weightlifting, boxing , 🏀 and ⚽️ They also have a hottub on the roof with excellent views. Casa Elena is a hidden gem with ⭐️⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️, locally owned accommodations in a safe community.

My stay in this accommodation was excellent. The place was impeccably clean, very well equipped and as shown in the pictures. The bed was comfortable, the wifi worked perfect and the location was ideal, close to everything you need but in a quiet area. Also, the host was very kind and attentive, always willing to help with recommendations and quickly answer any questions. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it 100%.

Porton Blanco is a true home away from home! The host provided a warm welcome before I even arrived with her quick reply to my booking and detailed responses to my questions. Upon arrival we were greeted with refreshments and recommendations, which ensured our trip was smooth and enjoyable. One of my favorite luxuries of this home is its terrace view of the mountains - it’s such a beautiful site to see! The house is conveniently located near a shopping centre and walking distance from a market where we were able to stock up on kitchen staples. Overall, quiet and convenient location with a clean space. If you can fit it into your agenda request the masseuse, such a treat. Can’t wait to stay here again - thank you for being an amazing host!

The space is very clean, well located, Pablo was very attentive and helped us with transportation, super friendly gentlemen and excellent service.

Precilla was very responsive and very helpful. There is a bus stop in front of the building. Her place is just as described. There's also a sauna, steam room and gym. I stayed a month and enjoyed my stay.

We spent one night in David's apartment on our return from a work trip. The apartment is very well located, in one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Quito. This is my second time staying at David's apartment and I feel very comfortable there: it is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped, has a washer and dryer and is very quiet. I highly recommend it!

I stayed at Diego's place for a month and had a great time. The apartment is cozy and tastefully furnished, it has all the comforts even for a long stay. The location is very central, very close to Carolina metro station and El Jardin shopping center. A stone's throw away is the beautiful La Carolina park. The apartment is on the fourth floor, quiet and well lit. The building has 24-hour security guards, all always very kind and helpful. The tip of the diamond is the attention and kindness of the landlord. For any need, respond promptly to messages, resolve issues, and fulfill every request. A real guarantee. I had a great time and was sorry to leave. I sincerely thank Diego.

This place was perfect for us. We have extended family in the same neighborhood. While the place is in Quito, it is within the Bellavista neighborhood with food shops and restaurants within a block. The place has a territorial view and a lovely patio in which to enjoy morning coffee. The kitchen is properly stocked. The beds are comfortable. The more a person has travelled the world and enjoys diversity, the more you will appreciate this gem. My wife and I felt comfortable and safe.

Wonderful quiet country home

Villa Doris is a magical place to enjoy with the whole family or friends. It has all the comforts and is in the middle of nature. The best thing is that you can observe squirrels, birds and even opossums! Lorena, her host, is very sweet and attentive. Everything was perfect!!

My stay with Daniela was amazing. She was helpful in every way. She kindly welcomed me after my long flight and offered me some tea. Daniela was responsive to every question I had about the city, the country, and the neighborhood. When I encountered issues at the apartment, she tried to help me!!Thanks to her support, my stay was peaceful, and I truly felt at home. The apartment is just amazing: cozy with a nice view!

The apartment boasts a great location, very comfortable, clean and well decorated. As a point to consider, the elevator can only be activated by the building guard, which may be impractical at certain times. Overall, though, the stay was very satisfying.

Patricia's place had a beautiful view. It was spacious and quiet. Security was very friendly and we felt safe. The place had very hot water, which isn't always the case. Surrounding was quiet from the apartment. There was shampoo, conditioner, bar of soap and towels provided. If you plan to use the kitchen, you will have to pick up supplies. There was detergent to wash clothing. We took taxis where ever we needed to go. Overall, Patricia's place was as pictured and very spacious. She had great communication and made check-in easy. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

It was a relaxing and quiet stay, the house is old but very cared for, Maria Agusta was an incredible host always attentive to our needs, we really had an incredible time, just what I needed with my family, a place nearby to be able to mobilize us in different times and at the same time we feel away from everything. Thank you so much for everything we hope to be back soon.

The place was perfect for our trip. The hosts were super friendly and attentive to our preferred schedules. We were received with everything in perfect condition, very beautiful and we were welcomed with nice touches that made our stay even better. This accommodation is highly recommended, in a totally safe and comfortable complex, while enjoyable in a preferred location within the city. Impossible to improve.
