Built in the early 1830’s, you’ll feel like you’re stepping back in time while enjoying its modern amenities. The Walter Miller House

East Campus gem! Just 2 blocks from Mizzou's campus and a short walk to downtown, Boone Hospital and Stephens College, this historic home was designed by architect James Jamieson and built in 1916 for Walter Miller (noted linguist, classics scholar and archaeologist) and his wife Jennie Emerson Miller. A state park is close for kayaking and canoeing. There are some very nice restaurants and wineries close by or you can cook in the large kitchen. There are some great biking trails and horse back riding in the conservation area that's 2 miles away.
