“First of all, I would like to mention that this house was one of the most beautiful house I have stayed during my trip around Italy. The house is very clean, the stove, the washing machine (and also internet)... everything works perfectly. The host even prepared us a nice bottle of wine for welcoming as well. Sara our host was very nice to us, and gave us A lot of informations, which helped us A lot during my travel. I would love to come back to this place if I end up coming back to Italy. Thanks Sara for everything.”
“Our stay at Giampiero and Cristina's home was fantastic! The house is simply delicious; tastefully furnished, spotless, comfortable, welcoming and complete with everything you need. Our hosts were very kind, really friendly, discreet and pleasant people. Vallisnera is in a tactical location for those who want to go hiking and cycling. Perfect place for those who want to enjoy the mountains and love being outdoors. Near Vallisnera there are two countries a bit bigger where you can find everything .. baker, bank, grocery etc. We particularly appreciated this accommodation because we were able to bring our two dogs who enjoyed the private enclosed garden. I suggest everyone to stay at the home of Giampiero and Cristina to enjoy a relaxing but at the same time fun holiday in the Reggio Apennines.”
In a 1400s village, between the Apuan Alps and the Cinque Terre, there is a stone house, renovated to make it safe and comfortable. Photovoltaic panels allow energy savings during the day. Silence and tranquility help you relax, rest and spend pleasant days. From the windows of the upper floors you can admire the village, the chestnut forest and the mountains. A train from Casola station connects Lucca and Pisa with Aulla and the Cinque Terre
“I was overwhelmed by the hospitality and kindness of Mario and Irene. As a solo traveller they welcomed me into their home as part of their family and showed me a truly authentic Italian experience. The hosts cannot do enough to make their guests feel comfortable and at home. The house is very beautiful with many original features dating back to the 12th Century. The setting of the house is in a traditional Italian village which is virtually untouched by tourism. There are many beautiful places nearby and the area is perfect for those who love walking, hiking and and have an interest in architecture and history. I would recommend staying here with all my heart and I'm already planning a return trip to the area and would not stay with anyone else. Irine and Mario went above and beyond for me and when I found myself in difficulty having had a fall when walking. They went out of their way to help me even though I was in a hospital miles from Casola; a kindness I shall never forget and will be eternally grateful for. ”
