Monthly Rentals in Compton Bassett

Please visit this location if you can. Keith was so helpful in advance in agreeing to take some deliveries that were a surprise for my partner’s birthday and set these up for our arrival. The place itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need. There were so many convenient things provided, like toiletries, milk, cereal and tea and coffee - so you don’t have to worry about the little things and can pack light if you want. It’s beautifully quiet and the views are amazing. There are fabulous walks nearby and plenty of shops and eating places walking or driving distance. There is so much to do nearby that we couldn’t do everything that we would have liked to do. The enclosed courtyard is also perfect if you’re bringing dogs and lovely to sit and have a coffee in the sun. It was really easy to find and super flexible for us on arrival and departure. We really loved our stay and would definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

We really loved staying at Conkers. The flat is charming, comfortable, very well-appointed and private with access to a lovely bit of garden space outside. It's a pleasant 15 minute walk along footpaths to Avebury and there are many other great places and walks to explore close by in this beautiful part of the world. Linda is a brilliant host and really went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. She was super helpful with check-in and check-out arrangements, took delivery of our grocery order so it was waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived, and even came up with a plan to feed us had Sunday's lunchtime power cut continued into the evening. Such thoughtfulness and care were very much appreciated and we would be very happy to stay at Conkers again.

We loved our stay. The place is small but has everything needed. We were lucky to have an incredible sunset from the patio on the second night. We loved visiting Bradford on Avon and walking down the canal. The nearby pub, The Whitehorse is nice but The Duke in Calne was amazing. Incredible food and service. Hosts were great and good comms.

This is my second time staying with Maggie and Alan, they are amazing hosts and made my wife and I feel right at home. A nice cozy airbnb, private and only a 10 minute drive to Avebury and 15 to Marlborough.
