Vacation rentals with breakfast in Connacht

Mary and Seamus were absolutely wonderful hosts, with a beautiful home and made me feel very welcome and relaxed. My room was gorgeous. Clean, warm and cosy and lovely views. I wish I could haves stayed longer, I felt like I known them both for a good while, but that’s the true spirit of the Irish hospitality. Wonderfully people and would love to revisit and to explore more of the area.

Barbara was very friendly and welcoming. The place is as described. I just found it tricky to find.

Perfect for a solo traveller who wants something better than a hostel. Ruth quickly shows you around the house and then you can go to your private room if you want to - or stay and chat with Ruth, and she'll give you tips of the surrounding area - such a lovely irish lady. Highly recommended!

Absolutely recommend Nora’s place. We felt very much at home and Nora went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It’s a lovely house, just down the road from the sea and great pubs. Nora gave us a lovely breakfast and good tips for the local area.

Karolina is such a nice host ! She welcomed us into her lovely home. The room was clean and bright with a billig comfortable bed and a nice bathroom! The shower is great ! Everything was super clean and the fact that we can take our breakfast like in our own home is so lovely ! We loved it! She also took the time to help us with our renting car issues! I recommend 100% !

Our stay at Sheila’s was simply perfect! The semi detached is clean and comfortable. The accommodation is very well equipped, and the location is ideal for exploring the region. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The neighborhood is quiet and just a few minutes' walk from Loughrea town center. Regarding the kitchen, we were impressed by how well-equipped it was. Since we enjoy cooking, having access to such utensils, appliances, and a well-stocked pantry/fridge was just great! It made preparing meals not only easy but a fun part of my trip. Communication with Sheila is exemplary. Sheila was quick to respond to any questions we had. Considering the possibility of a strike or lockout by our airline company (Air Canada), we decided to shorten our trip to Ireland by 2 days. Sheila was very understanding and offered to reimburse us for the last days of our accommodation before we even asked. We are very grateful! Many thanks to her!

Only a short stay but a truly lovely experience. The unit was spacious, comfortable, quiet and beautifully presented. The generosity of the breakfast that was provided was amazing - and delicious! Highly recommend Jan and Sandy New Zealand

Good-medium value for a clean, quiet place. We spent 3 nights. Very walkable town and great restaurant and cafe choices, petrol, coffee, grocery, etc. Great water pressure, tea kettle and supplies, and a nice touch of milk and water in small fridge. Large bed with the topper was a bit sunken toward each other for 2 adults ( 165, 210 pounds, not obese) and the single bed in the same room is very firm (could use a topper). My husband simply took the small bed and all is well. Safe surroundings. No pub noise at all. Parking was no problem. Cute place. Enjoy.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Ben’s place. Check-in was super easy, the studio was clean and cozy, and the setting was peaceful. Ben’s instructions were clear, and communication was great. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay in Ballyheigue. apartment was perfect for us as a family of 4. Comfy beds, good powerful shower. The kitchen has everything we needed. I loved having my morning coffee on the deck overlooking the bay. The location is fab literally 5 mins from the beach. Caitriona is a lovely host really friendly and is on hand if you need her. would highly recommend if your looking to stay in Ballyheigue.

Lovely annex in a great rural location. Michael and Nicola are great hosts, and I would recommend staying there to anyone.

Dympna house it’s a very beautiful house ,close to shops and restaurants,everything you need it’s just 1 min away .Thank you Dympna we have such a good time in Sligo and in your house.

Lynda is probably the best host you could ask for! And the space her & her partner have made is so extremely cozy. The coffee was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, and the recommendations Lynda gave were spot on and made our visit in Athlone perfect! I was kicking myself for not staying longer because it was one of my favorite places my partner & I stayed - and most of that had to do with Lynda !! Also, the location was fabulous- such a close walk to Sean’s bar, the castle, and all the food places we could want. Plus, Lynda’s shop was super well stocked and made me wish I lived in town to make it my main grocery & coffee spot 💕

We had such a lovely stay, the hosts were lovely and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The house was beautiful, cozy and clean, the games room downstairs was great fun for all ages !! We will definitely be back!!

My partner and I stayed 1 night at Ora's place before visiting Cliffs of Moher the following day. The apartment is clean, cozy, and well furnished. To our surprise, the fridge had some fruit, yogurt, and granola which was great for breakfast. It was great to drink coffee in the morning and appreciate the wonderful view. The bed is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

Linda is an excellent hostess. She and her two very well-behaved dogs welcomed us with great warmth. Linda is a very friendly person, really nice to talk to. Beautiful accommodation, very clean, with refined personal care products and excellent breakfast.

Bernie and her partner are great host, very caring and humane. I will definitely always visit anytime I am in town.

Lorraine went above and byond. She was super helpful and friendly, allowing me to leave my bags before check in time. The room was comfortable, quiet and safe, and her house was just a couple of blocks away from Eyre Square in Galway. She made homemade scones for breakfast, too!

Eileen and Desmond’s place is centrally located to the town and easily walkable. We were there for St Patrick’s Day and a really great experience! Desmond welcomed us with warmth and showed us around the place. He offered any assistance we might need. The breakfasts are fantastic and quite filling. Barbara, their helper, was fun and full of good information. We checked out earlier and Desmond had our breakfast ready for us before we departed. He took time to show us more of the family photos and made our stay over the top. 10 stars Desmond!

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s house looking out on the fields surrounding her home. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and Mary was an excellent host. She shared great recommendations of the local area and prepared a tasty breakfast the next morning before we left. We will absolutely be staying at Mary’s again!
