Perfect venue for a Thanksgiving getaway with our whole family. Rather than having out of town family staying at hotels, we could all stay together in a comfortable home with a beautiful view.

We were in the area to meet our son's fiance's extended family. Nathania's home was perfect! We had 7 adults and 5 little boys ages 9, 7, 5, 2, and 2 months. There was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the time together. The hot tub, kayaks, and foosball table were especially popular! We were able to host a family dinner with guests which was wonderful. Everything we needed for preparation was readily available. Lots of beautiful parks, playgrounds, hiking areas. Plenty to keep everyone entertained! Nathania was extremely kind, gracious, and responsive to questions. We had absolutely zero issues. So grateful for a wonderful vacation. Thank you for sharing your idyllic home with us. We hope to visit again!!!

This place is amazing! The house is super spacious, cozy, and has ample amenities. The game room is well-equipped and the fireplace was great. The host was very responsive and super friendly. I definitely look forward to staying here again. Absolutely beautiful!

This place was one of the best airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at! The host was super helpful and responsive, everything was beautiful and just as described, in fact it was even better in person! Everything was very clean, they provided a balloon, a card, and a wine bottle for my birthday which was so sweet! We would love to come back and are so grateful for everything the host provided to us. 😊

We had a wonderful stay! The house can accommodate large family gatherings - there were a lot of spaces for folks to spread out as well as gather. The kitchen is very well stocked. We would definitely rent again!

My family and I have rented several homes for vacation over the years, but this home is truly a special place. The property is gorgeous! The views are amazing, and we enjoyed spending many hours taking it all in. Lots of wildlife to observe and the private hiking trail was a great bonus. The house itself was wonderful…a unique mix of history, art, music, and modern technology. Everything was high-end and excellent quality. The bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable we have ever slept in away from home. The house was extremely clean and had everything you would ever need and plenty of it. We have never seen a vacation house with so many extra linens, toilet paper, Kleenex, coffee, etc. We were so impressed! Hector is an exceptional host, friendly and responsive. His home is incredibly peaceful, a true sanctuary. We are so very grateful that we chose this house for our family vacation. Thank you, Hector!

Victoria's place was wonderful! It was spacious and comfortable and gave our family plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our visit. Victoria was a very responsive host and made check in and check out stress free and easy! There was ample parking for our cars and the house was private - it was the "house behind the house" so we weren't subject to busy traffic noise on the street. (Got a little confusing for DoorDash drivers but we worked it out :D). I will book this same place next time I am up for an extended weekend with the family. Highly recommend!

Laurie is a wonderful and generous host. Though we did not take advantage of it, she let us know that early check-in was possible on our arrival date. When we did arrive, we were greeted with a lovely care package of treats, including excellent treats for our dog. Really nice touches, and much appreciated. The space is clean and spacious, free of clutter, with a nice kitchen. We are especially grateful for pet-friendly hosts, and Laurie's place was truly excellent. Even non-pet people should find the space very suitable. There are no signs that other dogs had stayed there, the space, furniture and linens are all very clean. Great host, great place!

Hope was hands down the most communicative and thoughtful homeowner I've ever had the pleasure of being hosted by. She had every possible concern already considered and ready to address, and she was extremely understanding of case-by-case needs unique to the current guests. I will most likely be finding time to stay at Hope's property again, as she was caring from start to end, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, safe, comfortable property to spend one-or many- nights at. Our initial stay was for five nights and we extended for an additional five nights. We loved this house. It’s comfortable and charming with elegant decor. The radiant heat in the floors was much appreciated as we were there during cold weather. Great host, very responsive. Highly recommend.

Beautiful views of the beach. Close to Silver Sands Beach with a nice boardwalk to take a walk on. Home is comfy and well stocked. Owner was quick to respond to our questions. Great place to stay.

The house was so gorgeous and comfortable! Warm kitchen, beautiful spaces to lounge, luxurious bathrooms, and spacious bedrooms. We felt very at home. And Dylan was very responsive. We had an overly exciting exit from the house due to snowy conditions and he raced over to help salt the driveway. Highly recommend a stay at his house — I can’t wait to come back in the summer and use the pool!

We had a great stay at this home. The purpose was for family to gather for an 85th birthday and it was perfect. The home was well stocked with all we needed. It was clean, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We had plenty of space to all gather together and everyone also had their own private space. We would absolutely rent again. Thank you!!

This was our first time at the Barn. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of room. Plenty of parking. MaryBeth and Doug are extremely friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Barn. Will definitely book there again next year.

Stayed at Scott and Durelle's guest house for my 30th birthday with 10 friends. Booked mostly for the pool to enjoy a hot August weekend, but unfortunately there was a huge tropical storm! We still enjoyed the spacious house, jumping into the pool in the rain, cooking on the grill in a moment of dry weather, and overall had a peaceful and fun weekend despite crazy weather! A testament to this great property - which is beautiful and just as in pictures.

Absolutely beautiful home with every amenity and comfort. You can tell how much love and care went into this place- every piece of furniture and detail is the highest quality. It’s even more spacious and beautiful than it looks in the photos. It was perfect for our group with young kids and it was great they provided a pack and play so we didn’t have to pack one. The hosts were easy to communicate with and flexible. They even let us check out late on our final day. We opted to enjoy the beautiful yard and home longer rather than venture out because we were so comfortable. We cannot wait to come back in the summer as the pool and yard set up is incredible. This wonderful antique home is in a Beautiful spot in the heart of Litchfield CT, and a delight early spring when the fields of daffodils awake! This unique 1793 house has a great view & sunset, fireplace, simple spa/gym making it a gem even when the pool is closed. Nearby the town with lots to offer and local farms for food shopping too. What’s not to love 💛 Bonus is a great host offering a home that is in touch with the realities of rentals, pets and people -not picky, precious or punitive. Happy to recommend and return!
