Since December 4, 2023, we have been the proud owners of our vacation home at Beach Resort in Makkum. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, and is very complete. The house is nicely centrally located on a quiet park. With a sunny terrace and views over the nature reserve and the water. You can fish from the jetty! Within a few minutes' walk, you are on the beach and the cozy boulevard with catering facilities. Beach Resort Makkum is a holiday at a beautiful resort on the IJsselmeer!

The house offers three bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. It’s understated elegant interiors have been published in the UK House and Garden and the Residence interior magazines. Guests get to use the grand blue room with velvet clad walls and the souterrain kitchen with wood burning stove. There is a peaceful city garden with BBQ and outdoor seating. In the winter one can enjoy cosy evenings besides the various fireplaces, long dinners in the kitchen or baths in one of the bathrooms.

The view of the sea dike and the masts of the ships in the harbor makes it the perfect location for rest and relaxation. At about 200 meters is the center of Makkum and at about 2.5 km the beach with restaurants, shops and a top location for windsurfing!

Whether spending time in the sun or watching the numerous surfers, sailing boats or water birds. Everyone really gets their money's worth here. The house was furnished with a lot of love to a high standard. Appliances such as a Bora hob and a Quooker hot water tap were installed in the kitchen. We look forward to seeing you.

In 2022, we built our vacation home in this unique location and it has all the comforts! Whether you are cooking together in the luxury kitchen or hanging out on the sofa in front of the wood-burning stove, you will notice the intimate atmosphere and the beautiful light everywhere. The house is located directly on open water and has a large veranda. With the village and beach within cycling distance, this is a wonderful place to recharge.
