I highly recommend Eliane's place. This is our 3rd stay in her house and we can't imagine staying anywhere else. The house is superb, functional, tastefully decorated and the pool is ideal. You have all the amenities nearby for food, shopping, or pharmacy! Another big thank you to Eliane and her team for hosting us.

Axel's place in Abidjan is spacious, clean and lovely. The neighborhood is calm and friendly. We enjoyed daily walks to nearby vendors, shops and bakeries. We also discovered an amazing place in the neighborhood called La Fabrique Culturelle that had live music, movie nights, theater and dj's. https://www.facebook.com/lafabriqueculturelle/. The stay was pleasant considering the house which is spacious and well ventilated with several terraces overlooking the roofs of the city. Several bathrooms and toilets make things feel comfortable. The house will be really nice when it is finished and better furnished Again with a little decoration. An improvement will have to be made regarding the dishes and cookware quite rudimentary or not necessarily suitable for all kinds of kitchen. No teapot! no steamer! Rachel's welcome was very nice, even if at a distance and that of Serge his nephew who physically welcomed us at 5am was remarkable . Communication was very nice , which also made things easier for our stay. Only one downside, the distance from the heart of Abidjan, neighborhoods, administrative, commercial or even residential which is with traffic jams, requires a lot of time by car. But once in the house, perfect.
