  • Wandering Wicklow with Friendly Donkeys
There is something special about donkeys! How could you not love those long fluffy ears, gentle eyes, shaggy coat and cheeky character? Come and enjoy an unforgettable donkey experience in the peaceful setting of our family farm in Wicklow. You will be warmly greeted when you arrive and we will show you around our yard and briefly talk you through the experience to make sure you feel confident and comfortable with our long eared pals. We will share some insider tips and tricks about how to look after, halter, feed and groom donkeys and then you get to try it all for yourself. During the time spent grooming and brushing your donkey, you will get to know each other a little and slowly build trust and a friendly bond. They are very social animals who love cuddles and a good massage with a brush. Then off we go for our tour! The walk is fairly easy with a mixture of road and forest path and we take our time and never rush anyone. There is lots of time for hugs, kisses, selfies and photos with the donkeys and some beautiful views to enjoy too. When we return to the farm you can bring your donkey back to his paddock and meet all his friends! Feel free to stay as long as you like to get to know them all :) Our donkeys are naturally curious so they will want to get to know you. Nothing is compulsory, you can be involved in as much or as little of the experience as you would like.

  • Two hour historical tour of Kilkenny
The experience begins in the centre of Kilkenny. I will give you an overview of the city's history and why it is laid out as it is. We then move on to various historic buildings and sights. At each location, I give a brief description, it's uses over the years along with an account. The tour is very history orientated, but we will cover other areas such as sport, culture and nature. The tour takes around two hours. The tour takes in the medieval mile but also other areas which are as important, and so we cover almost the entirety of the medieval walled city, which other tours do not. Other things to note The route is approximately four kilometres long and it takes two hours. The city is very old and some pavements are uneven or narrow.

  • Shenanigans The Kilkenny City Walk
My tour is for all ages and I blend comedy, history, magic and irreverent Irish humour, as we travel along the Medieval Mile Kilkenny. We chat and laugh as we walk to each landmark and I will bring you around the medieval back lanes and corridors as I tell you the history and stories of Kilkenny Castle, Rothe House, The Butter Slip, Graces Castle and Alice Kytelers’ House (Kilkenny’s famous witch) and I use some of my magician skills to bring these stories to life. We will explore all of Kilkenny’s hidden gems and I tell you about turns of phrase that come from medieval times still used today. I will tell you what life was like growing up in such a beautiful city and conjure up images of life in medieval times. One person will become a knight for a while and you will get to see and touch some arrow heads and I introduce to the Shenanigans roar as you become part of the tribe. Other things to note Come dressed for the outdoor walk, evenings can also get a little cooler. Its a ninety minute walk so maybe a bottle of water and of course a camera.
