Vacation rentals with lake access in Coventry

Diane’s lake front studio was just perfect for my little staycation. The bed was very comfy, kitchen was stocked with all the needed cutlery, and although we had some unplanned snow this weekend, the three season screened in porch provided a nice location to just sit and read or listen to the birds singing throughout the day. It has a little space heater that makes it relatively comfy when it wasn’t windy. That combined with a sweater and provided blankets kept me entirely comfortable. While I used it for a little personal getaway, I can see it being perfect for a little couples getaway as well! I look forward to having the chance to stay again once the weather warms up for real 😄

Our stay at "The Answer" was perfect. We booked spontaneously during our east coast roadtrip and arrived just a few hours after we booked. We immediately received confirmation and instructions on how to enter the house. From the first moment you could tell that the house has been furnished with the utmost care to detail and a big loving heart. We felt right at home and could not have been happier. From the well equipped kitchen, over the lovely outdoors, to the super cozy living room and bedroom, we could not have felt more welcomed and homey. Big thanks to the hosts. We would stay with you in a heartbeat! Only sad part was that we had to leave so soon and that we didn't get to meet them. Fully recommend!

My 2 colleagues and I stayed here during a conference at U Conn and it was absolutely perfect. The house is steps from the lake with beautiful views. Great porch, 2 fire pits (one is part of the porch table itself!), and fun water bikes. Great swimming and relaxing all around. The house itself is comfortable and super clean. Last but not least , the host Jena was truly above and beyond helpful, responsive, and accommodating. We had an awesome time - it felt like a true retreat :)

My family and I of 5 stayed at Peter’s place from the April 14th-17th. The place was very easy to find, plenty of parking space, easy instructions to get in. Upon entering everything was very clean and organized, the rooms were the perfect size for all of us to stay in. Plenty of towels for all of us. The backyard is nice although we didn’t use it because it was chilly while we were there, but it was very clean! Mystic is about 30 ish minutes away from the place. There is a near by small beach as well for the summer days. At night everything is very quiet, and peaceful, the beds were comfortable. The charging pods on the night stand were great as well. The air conditioning in every room were great, the washer and dryer in the main bedroom was very useful, and they provide the detergent pods as well which is great. Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay here. We didn’t have to contact Peter about any concerns, because we felt right at home.

I have stayed at lots of places in the last few years . . . and this place ranks right at the top. It is beyond beautiful. The water views from the living room and both bedrooms made it hard to leave and come home. It's actually even more amazing than the pictures. Don't think twice! Book this place now!

We loved Nathania's house! The views were beautiful! It was a great house to have local family over for a gathering (which was the purpose of our visit). We had some snow and ice during our stay, but Nathania and her husband were unexpectedly there, and ensured the snow and ice was dealt with the best they could. We definitely hope to rent again!

This was our second time to stay. It had a gorgeous view surrounded by beautiful trees. It was so peaceful and relaxing with everything we needed. James is so easy to work with and very responsive. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew's place. It was a perfect little getaway where we could unwind & just enjoy the scenery. We came in town to visit our Son who is a Freshman at Nichols College. We had some cold weather & rain but, we took full advantage of the firepit & sat out by the water enjoying the view. There were lots of things to do on the water that we can hopefully do when we visit again in warmer weather. This place was a wonderful spot for us to unwind & spend time with our boy! Andrew & Lora were super responsive & helpful for all of our needs. They went above & beyond to make sure our visit was perfect. Highly recommend this gem by the water!

This was our 2nd stay at Andrea’s place. Very peaceful and convenient location for our visits to Connecticut. We come to visit family but the small river towns like Deep River offer much to do and excellent restaurants to boot. We highly recommend Andreas property!

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

My stay was AMAZING! You can really see and feel how the host took time to make the home cozy and beautifully detailed. It was mind blowing to see how every part of the home was utilized without feeling cramped or cluttered. Definitely a great place for friends to come together. I was shocked to see how well the entire home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host provided superb comfort and convenience. Pictures do no justice for this zen home, you have to experience it in person. If you’re looking for a tranquil and beautiful place to visit; LOOK NO FURTHER!

This was a great place to stay. Jeri was a wonderful host - responsive, kind, warm, and friendly. The place was beautiful, and all the amenities made the stay very pleasant. Fresh eggs and cream in the fridge, along with chickens right outside really set this place apart. Wonderful place, wonderful stay, amazing host.

Ricardo’s place was truly incredible. It’s such a cozy, clean and convenient spot located in a very good area. Had everything you need and have a very home-like feel. I was visiting my girlfriend for our anniversary and the weather wasn’t the greatest outside but that didn’t bother us one bit. We were comfortable cooking and eating at home and we had everything to make that happen. Ricardo and his wife were so kind and flexible with us. We would love to come back in the summertime and fully enjoy their spot again because there are great views in the backyard by the water. Well worth the price of admission. Thank you Ricardo and family. We will definitely be back if you’ll have us! Cheers 🥂

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

We had a beautiful stay at the cabin. The views are stunning and the hot tub was glorious. A lovely escape into nature.

Such a great stay! The area is beautiful, and you can see the water right from the front deck. The Airbnb itself is so cute, with great little touches, like a coffee bar, fire pit, and great views. It was a really peaceful stay, and our pups loved it too.

Brenda place was beautiful with a beautiful view especially when we work up to some light snow on the lake. The layout of the house was ideal for us with the big open living room and great updated kitchen. So many comfortable beds for us to use. Our favorite places were the sun room and dining rooms looking out at the lake, Brenda was was kind and helpful and adding a Christmas tree for us was a beautiful touch . Highly recommend, one of our best for sure, thank you

If you are looking for simplicity (which we were) this is the perfect place to. I’ve always wanted to stay at a lake house. We couldn’t have asked for more. Serene, tranquil, beautiful are the proper descriptions of the house and the area. We came to Connecticut to visit my daughter and family and they ended up coming to our place instead. Jason was extremely helpful when needed. We would definitely stay there again!

As everyone else noted, what an AMAZING find! A truly beautiful location that has you saying “wow” from when you first step inside. The place had everything you could ask for and we felt like we were at home. I would certainly come back again and I completely understand why she is booked out through the summer. What a lovely area and easy access to so many towns and attractions.

This house is gorgeous right on the lake in the winter was so beautiful. The home was clean and had everything you needed. Absolutely loved Catherine’s guidebook so well written and amazing communication. I would recommend this stay for anyone who loves a staycation!! Thank you for an amazing weekend! 💕
