Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Crackenback

We had a lovely stay in East Jindabyne over the Easter weekend. Enough room for our family with 5 kids/teens and the kids loved the basketball hoop to play on in the driveway. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The house was warm from the cool nights and we watched beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Thanks for having us!

Brooke’s place was absolutely amazing! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described - if not better. Brooke was a fantastic host, super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. Would 100% stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great stay!

Definitely would recommend this place. Neek was so thoughtful to provide boots drier. Every thng was clean. The only challenge is there is only one bathroom and toilet for 10 people.

This a beautifully appointed and presented accommodation.There are stunning views over the lake from all rooms. Spotlessly clean with quality linen, towels etc. The kitchen is very well appointed. The nearest shops and eateries are in Jindabyne are about 8kms away . Carmen's place is highly recommended as a base to explore this stunning part of the country.

Elbert was absolutely beautiful and the house was so modern and clean. Kate provided very lovely welcome touches - soft toys for the kids, yummy snacks, a lovely welcome letter. The house location was 2nd to none, everything was neat and clean. The back sitting room on the lake was such a lovely place to sit, relax with a cuppa, read a book and enjoy the peaceful lake views. The outdoor fire pit was organised and laid out, ready for us to use. I would def recommend Kate's Elbert to anyone thinking of visiting the area. You won't find a better place to relax

We came to the area for my son's wedding. Tristan's cottage was in the perfect spot. We loved the cosiness of the place, the quiet, and the surrounding landscape. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We would’ve liked to have some shampoo etc in the bathroom, but it wasn’t a problem. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely weekend staying at the house. Was perfect for a few skiers, with a mudroom equipped to store all equipment and dry it. The kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances we needed and we were met with a lovely cheese platter to welcome us. Will absolutely be coming back again!

A great little place to stay near the snow. We were allowed to drop our things in early on the way to ski fields. They also let us charge our electric vehicle from an outdoor power point. Very handy when only one charging station in Jindabyne was working! Alpacas were cute and some lovely birdlife around too.

Jenni's place was perfect for a few days away. Usually we travel with the kids but left them behind this time and the accomodation was perfect for the two of us. Even with no skiable snow it was easy to pass the time with bushwalks, village strolls, cruisy day trips or just staring out the window at the changing landscape. The crow who sits on the balcony railing was delightful!

We had a wonderful stay over the Easter weekend. The apartment is quite spacious and had all the amenities needed. We appreciated the sustainable and earth friendly choices in small things such as coffee pods, toilet paper, etc. Beds were super comfy. Extra bedding options were helpful. We would happily come back and recommend the place to others.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The resort facilities were a huge hit with the kids, they couldn't get enough of the kayaking and the play areas. The apartment itself was perfect; it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The kids particularly loved the loft sleeping area, it added a special touch of excitement to their stay. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and hassle-free getaway!

The location is perfect, right in the heart of Thredbo village. The apartment is a good size for four couples or a couple of families. As other reviewers and the host has noted, it is very much like staying in someone's really nice house rather than a hotel room, which was nice. Plenty of additional items that are not usually in Airbnb apartments such as pretty much full kitchen supplies apart from the food; games; books and magazines etc. Even includes things like wireless charging pads in bedrooms. On the downside, parking is a bit of a pain if you are arriving by car. Probably not a great issue in the winter but a bit of a pain in the summer if you are using the car each day. Not the biggest problem ever but worth noting.

Peter was a great host from the start, offering his assistance to us and when we had questions, he had answers. We experienced some poor weather and needed the advertised drying room. It had been switched off over summer so we asked Peter for help and he promptly arrived and turned it on for us. Peter also offered alternate activities for us to do, and suggested the best day of the week for our summit walk. A great feature of Wendeleigh 8 is the fact there is a bathroom for each bedroom. They are small and had shower curtains which are not our favourite, however we were told these are being updated from February. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, knives and all the essentials as well as cling wrap, ziplock bags, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags etc. In the laundry as well as a washer and dryer, there was laundry powder and a first aid kit. Overall, I think this is the best stocked unit we have stayed at. So close to the shops too! Thanks Peter!

Jennifer's place was an excellent location with exceptional views and a wonderful spa bath that was exactly what we needed after climbing Mt Kosciosko. Plenty of storage, excellent kitchen facilities, and quick responsive host. Great place to stay if you're wanting to use it as a base for exploring the area.

We had an excellent time at Luke's place. Its located at right place and its amazing to view the lake view. Place has been kept tidy and clean. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful place and loved everything about the space! Peaceful and tranquil! As there are three bathrooms easy to stay with a group and loved the kitchen ! I would recommend this place to anyone !!

I would highly recommend this apartment. I was there with two other mates and there was plenty of room for all of us. Large, fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom was large with Plenty of hot water and fantastic water pressure. The apartment is very well styled and has everything you could need. Most importantly, it's walking distance to the chairlift. I will be back.
