A self contained secluded luxury Shepherds Hut sleeps two near the Brecon Beacons national park with delightful valley views. Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Enjoy the seclusion of the farm and walking opportunities in the area as well as the local attractions in East Carmarthenshire of castles, stately homes, gardens, local villages and towns. Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

Snug Oak Hut with a view on a Welsh Hill Farm

Set like a jewel in the beautiful Brecon Beacons, this tiny house is inspired by a traditional shepherd hut and offers super luxurious accommodation. Both cosy and private it's a place to snuggle down and get away from it all. It is cosy, light, airy and free of draughts. It has a clean, fresh comfortable feel and a traditional log burner. If the weather is good it is an ideal location for outdoor pursuits. If the weather is poor, stay inside and watch films, listen to music or play games.

An historic fully refurbished character barn attached to our traditional Welsh Long House home. Having a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed accessing it via a beautiful spiral staircase. Downstairs is an open plan lounge kitchen dinner with a wood burning stove and a beautiful chandelier. The kitchen is well appointed including electric oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a wine cooler. Large windows are at the front and back of the property with the most stunning views.

With a truly panoramic view out over the Brecon Beacons mountain range the accommodation is central for the whole South Wales region and an ideal base for walking,cycling,golf and mountain climbing .The Gower is an easy drive as is Brecon ,Cardiff and the Bay.There are many local attractions including the waterfalls at Pontneddfechan,Big pit ,Dan yr Ogof caves,Caerphilly Castle, Castell Coch and Bike Parc Wales to name just a few.

Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. Situated in a beautiful rural location in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park about a mile from Trecastle village. Perfect for cyclists, walkers and a short distance from Usk reservoir with excellent trout fishing. There is a small mini mart about 3 miles away where you can pick up basic supplies.
