“Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Grace! The contact went perfectly from the very beginning and all questions were immediately warmly answered. On arrival at the holiday home, I immediately got goosebumps despite the warm weather. So beautiful, so authentic, so pure, so cordial and so incredibly beautiful! This just couldn't be true for this price. This really exceeded all our expectations. Sue had baked fresh bread for us, the fridge was filled with a bottle of wine, a few beers, there were chips ready etc ... The way they welcomed us made us feel right at home. The cottage itself is really tastefully, cozy and decorated in Spanish style. The view is really breathtaking and the location makes you feel completely relaxed. We also expected that it would be hard to bear in the heat of August, but nothing could be further from the truth. Every moment of the day you have a place to relax in the shade, but also to bake in the sun. We did not miss an air conditioner for it was cool enough inside to sleep well. Our 11-year-old daughters had a fantastic time in the pool that was available to us every moment of the day. Sue and Chris were very charming, always open for a chat, to answer questions, to have a nice evening together, but at the same time they were also very discreet so that we could optimally enjoy quality time with the four of us. The way in which they find the balance between socializing and giving their guests their privacy is truly wonderful and simply makes them the perfect host and hostess. They are just made to do this! Sue and Chris are people for whom your vacation is a priority! We also made beautiful trips. Tips we can give: - the beach on Lake Iznajar: wonderfully quiet yet fun things to do for the children: pedalos with slide or rent a canoe, beach chairs, a small bar on the beach, great swimming. Please note: fishing is only permitted here if you have a permit for which you must follow a 24-hour course and take an exam in Spanish. - Chiringuito Valdearena: the restaurant close to the beach where you can eat delicious and very cheap. Be sure to try the artichokes! - Iznajar itself: beautiful village and a nice walk up. At the top of the church is a beautiful, picturesque square and the view is phenomenal! - The village of Canillas de Aceituno at an hour and a half drive. The ride is beautiful and the village itself is so authentic! Go to Bar El Picota and order tapas at 80 cents per portion. More Spanish than this is not possible! - The village of Antequera, a 40-minute drive away. Before you enter the village you see the majestic "rock of the in love" where once a rich, Catholic girl with her forbidden love, a slave, jumped down after a chase. Park in the central parking where you have a panoramic view of the village on the fifth floor and eat tapas in "Arte de tapas", near the parking. There you can eat really delicious tapas "in a new way". Highly recommended! Also take a walk up to the castle. There you will find yourself in Italy and you can also enjoy beautiful views! We also visited a real Spanish arena and that was more than worth it. - The village of Archidona is a 25-minute drive away. The beautiful square is very atmospheric but definitely eat in Central restaurant. The Spaniards noisy at the bar, the tapas displayed, a great atmosphere and great food! - Restaurant Casa Juani in Iznajar itself at 10 minutes drive. Be sure to try the ribeye with delicious pepper sauce! In short, Casa Grace is just the perfect Airbnb if you want to enjoy beautiful Andalusia! It is the ideal base for various excursions, but in the evening you come home "in the middle of nowhere". Sue and Chris, thanks again for our fantastic holiday! We can only heartily recommend your house with all our heart!”

“A very pleasant place, the house is located in a small village near Loja. It is a calm and quiet neighborhood, the room is comfortable and clean. Next to the room is the exit to the sunny terrace, where you can hear the sound of the stream and singing birds. At a distance of 20 minutes on foot there is a waterfall with a lagoon, beautiful walking areas, a great starting point to Granada, Malaga, Antequera, Iznahar and many other places. Very friendly and helpful hosts! recommend”

“We found the apartment with no problem thanks to the instructions given during the booking and were warmly welcomed by Nigel and Lisa. The apartment is faithful to the pictures of the ad, the place is very clean and we had all the necessary equipment. Very quiet, we had the chance to enjoy the places without any other guests! The pool with views of the olive trees is top and the hot tub after a long day was very nice. Nigel and Lisa do not live on site but are very available and Nigel spends every morning for small questions and requests. In short we have been conquered and we recommend as a base in the region! The value for money is excellent and we will remember this couple so welcoming. We will return.”
