3 - 1/2 miles North of US-2 Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

The Loon’s Landing

Relax at this peaceful cabin on Big Manistique Lake in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin has been completely remodeled, but still holds an old cottage charm. Nestled only a few miles from the Village of Curtis, this property has 133 feet of lake frontage and scenic western views. The shoreline is sandy and perfect for swimming. Enjoy this secluded cabin anytime of year. Located near trail 8 /H-58 for day trips in any direction. Cabin is set up with 2 Queens and accommodates 4 people comfortably. Two propane fireplaces & front room with beautiful view of private lake. Propane Weber for grilling , hot shower , stocked kitchen, washer and dryer. Fire pit for bonfire with wood for purchase on site. TV with HIGH SPEED INTERNET. Most likely will see and or hear a wild animal.

Lake front, walking distance to Hunt & Fish Shop, gas station, and food. Main floor has 2 bedrooms. Second floor loft 2 bedrooms. Total of 3-Twin, 2-Queen and one sofa bed. One twin and a queen are on the first floor. Please consider there are Very Narrow steps to 2nd level. Cottage isn’t childproof. Cottage isn’t suitable if guest has mobility challenges. Lake dock is shared. Tall side to get into the soaking depth bath tub/shower.
