Pls note that from January 2025 there is an additional government tax fee of €8 per night of stay which is charged separately and paid in cash upon arrival. The room & bathroom are pretty small and there is no shower cabin, however it’s super cozy. There is also access to a kitchen at the lounge area. ONLY WOMEN ARE ALLOWED TO STAY IN THIS DORMITORY !

The SEMELI guest house is located in the Northern part of Karpenisi and is built at an altitude of 1000 m with a view of Karpenisi, the Koniscos mountain and the Potamia valley. The hostel got its name from Semeli, daughter of King Cadmus and Armonia. Zeus fell in love with Semeli where they gave birth to Dionysus, god of the vines of joy and revelry.

A welcome view into a spacious living area is framed by an open door. Light-colored walls enhance the natural brightness, while a patterned sofa and wooden chairs provide comfortable seating. The tiled floor leads towards a kitchen area, visible at the end of the room.

The building is only 50 meters from the beach, 15 minutes to Sami village by walk and 20 minutes until the famous Melisani cave again by walk. We are a family traditional business trying to give the best hospitality and share nice moments with our guests.
