Vacation rentals with a firepit in Decorah

Great place with a great location! Plenty of room for a family of 5 and we were within walking distance to everything on Water Street!

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. This was a beautiful property. They thought of everything a person could forget. We arrived sooner than expected and we were willing to wait outside but Kathy was more than happy let us in early. The space was so relaxing and so much fun.

This was the perfect country setting to disconnect and recharge. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Outside, we were surrounded by trees, the sound of birds, and a running stream nearby. We loved spending the day just sitting on the wrap around porch and taking nature in. Thank you for making our stay the recharge we needed!

We appreciate the little extras she has available. Also plenty of blankets and pillows. Everything is clearly marked.

We went for a girls weekend and had a wonderful time! It was so peaceful. We spent the majority of our time in the garage playing pool and shuffle board. Ben was absolutely amazing. Any questions we had, he answered very quickly and even brought us wood for the fire pit. I highly recommend Ben’s place. Thanks Ben!

Impressive restoration of the log cabin. The cabin was furnished very well with towels, extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one could wish for, and even extras, like basic baking and cooking supplies. Even a tabletop popcorn popper! 🍿 🍿. Very peaceful surroundings in the woods.

We needed to book a place at the last minute because the other airbnb owner where our family had book changed their policy the week of our trip from pet-friendly to NO PETS. We have a puppy and had to either cancel the trip or find another location. Laurie's place is dog-friendly and adorable! It was a lovely place to stay during our annual family trout fishing trip to NE Iowa in the area northeast of Decorah. Laurie and her husband were delightful and friendly. We will definitely come back!

Norma Jean & Daryl are welcoming, kind hosts with an absolutely beautiful property! They were attentive to our safety as there was winter weather and helpful at every turn. My friend & I were celebrating a milestone birthday and had a perfect stay at their place.

We love our annual trips to Decorah and especially love when Trisha's place is available for us to stay! Berryhill Flat is pristinely cleaned and equipped with anything needed for a great stay. The entire property is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. My son and I especially loved star gazing each night because we could see the stars so clearly. The hosts are super friendly and very accommodating. We look forward to our next stay!

What can I say other than Randy's place is just great. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable. We both slept well on the comfortable bed. A way better stay than any hotel.

Thanks Evan and Kristen! We had a great stay during the Driftless yoga festival. Perfect location by the trail and walking distance to Will Baker Park. We loved having coffee in the back yard with the view of all the trees. Mama deer and fawn spotted on the lane coming back from dinner one night! Overall great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in Evan and Kristen's Airbnb. They made it easy and convenient to check in and out. I was very impressed with how well-maintained the space is. It was very clean organized, and cozy, and the kitchen was well-stocked with good quality cooking utensils. It is in a beautiful location that is private and quiet, but it is an easy walk to town. I would definitely stay here again!

Decorah High Point Magnolia Cabin was perfect quiet get away for our anniversary! Beautiful cabin, wonderful views and wildlife. Very relaxing!

It was a very relaxing and cozy retreat, the place had a very homey and comfortable vibe. Every amenity that would be needed it had. Read a few books and enjoyed Decorah. It felt very private. Thanks for hosting us!

Very comfortable and well appointed house with a spectacular view. It's not cheap, but well worth it. It was our second stay and we're already looking forward to our third.

Loved the place, we want to live there! Beautiful property super close to yellow river, enough room for multiple vehicles/boat. Very clean inside and it had the little touches like coffee, good smelling soap and blind for the bedrooms. The bath tub is huge too!

This cabin was the perfect retreat to relax and get away from the hustle of daily life. Kari was very responsive and friendly! Cabin and the views are absolutely stunning- we would absolutely book with them again.

This cabin is very clean and comfortable. It’s large enough to be adequate in terms of a place to rest, freshen up, and prepare a small meal. It’s not very private, as the front door of another cabin is less than 10 steps from your front door. But if all you are looking for is a clean, convenient place to base out of while enjoying outdoor activities and sightseeing, this is a great option, and the price is right. Highlights are a decent view of the river and a comfortable bed. There is a fire pit that is shared with the other cabin; it’s a pretty small pit so you won’t need much firewood. Jeff reached out the day after I arrived to check on my experience, which I appreciated. All in all, this was a great stay, and I will definitely consider staying here again!

Had a two night stay while kayaking the upper Iowa river. location was beautiful. Cabin was great, very clean and comfortable with loads of bonus amenities. absolutely loved our stay
