Kid-friendly vacation rentals in DeLand

Our son, Joshua, is on staff at YWAM Orlando. We came to spend Easter with him. Due to YWAM hospitality not having availability, we began searching for an Airbnb nearby. Joshua stated that Grace's parents had an Airbnb right next door to Grace and Eric's home. He saw that it was available, and I booked it. I believe that it was the hand of God that pointed us there. It was perfect for us to be able to spend quality time with Joshua. Our daughter Erin, Joshua's sister, passed away January 21, 2024. Because of this, we cherish time spent with our son. It was close to YWAM and Joshua's church. The neighborhood was quiet, and the accommodations were wonderful for us. Thank you and God Bless!

Check in and check out SUPER EASY! Lots of parking, access to TWO garages. Lots of chairs for chilling outside. Nice calm atmosphere. We liked it.

Marty was a great host, checked in multiple times throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. The house was beautiful, well kept. We will definitely be staying here again.

We really enjoyed our time here! It was a great place to stay with our kids with the giant back yard! We felt very safe and comfortable in the neighborhood. The A/C quit working and Chris had someone there to replace the unit ASAP!

We had a fabulous time enjoying each other on our family vacation in this space. We loved the house. Everything was as you described online. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. My favorite thing was having fun with the family on the beach and then being able to come to the house and just relax in the pool. Awesome showers and huge kitchen with everything we needed. The pool was sooo nice. Frog sounds at night very peaceful. Comfy beds in all rooms. We all feel very rested and wish we could stay a little longer. We loved Flagler beach and Matanzas beach which were both very close by. We hope to be back soon!

Great place, definitely would go back if we go to Florida

So much better than staying in a hotel. The location is a quiet residential neighborhood. You have your own small side yard for a morning yoga stretch or a quick potty break for your dog. The apartment has a separate space for the bedroom, bath and kitchen/living/study area. Everything was very clean and new. Plenty of hot water, towels and coffee for three days. Will stay here again.

Chris had a fantastic response time and was overall a pleasure to work with. The house was fairly difficult to find but that didn’t take away from the place. Great experience all together.

Lovely place to stay! The ocean is right across the street. There are plenty of beach accessories in the unit. Kitchen and bath were clean and fully upgraded. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location Lovely apartment Responsive and helpful host

Kurt and Elizabeth were very responsive hosts! They were also very accommodating with flexible check in and out. The condo was clean, had a nice set up, and great location, close enough to Uber to Disney and the ESPN World Wide Sports. The amenities were easy to access and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Kurt and Elizabeth checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed to feel at home. Great spot, will probably book again next year!

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was very clean, quiet and beautiful surroundings. The property is well maintained and very secure, allowing my family to rest comfortably. Anderson provided great communication before I arrived, he was welcoming upon arrival and promptly responsive throughout the entire trip. I would highly recommend this place.

Alfonso was an excellent host. He was super responsive and proactive with his communication. The unit was perfect, located very close to all the Disney/Universal attractions. The Clubhouse, Pool and Slides are located 100 yards from the unit was a hit. Right outside of gate neighborhood was everything you needed, Walmart, Starbucks and all the food and shopping you needed. Excellent host and unit

Thanks to Maria and Andy for hosting a great 4-week vacation. Everything was as described and everything worked. It was clean. The location is great. The bed was comfortable. It was well stocked for all consumables. Legacy Dunes is a private, well maintained and quiet resort with great facilities. Lots of trees and ample room to walk. Close to everything. Communication was prompt, helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
