Perfect Lakeside Getaway – Highly Recommended! Our stay at Alex and Tiffany’s beautiful lakeside house near Maniwaki was absolutely incredible. The home is brand new, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect retreat. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving a lovely welcome gift for our stay, which we truly appreciated. One of the best parts about this place is how close it is to everything in the city while still feeling peaceful and secluded by the lake. The views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. Alex and Tiffany were incredibly thoughtful, even setting up games for our younger ones, which made our stay even more enjoyable. While we visited outside of summer, I can only imagine how amazing it would be in the warmer months, with the lake right there for swimming and outdoor activities. If you’re passing through Maniwaki, I highly recommend staying here—you won’t regret it!

Beautiful place was perfect for us 2 workers

We visited at the end of winter (March) and we were happy to have the hot tub as we went to the sugar bush (La coulée) up the road and also did the snow tubing on a beautiful sunny day. We also visited le sentier d hébertisme de la Gatineau with 14 obstacle type courses in the forest which is incredible if you have kids. The end result is a beautiful teal coloured water fall. (Les chutes rouge). We saw more than 30 deer on the roads around us. So peaceful and beautiful. Overall we loved our stay. Make sure to bring keurig pods & dish soap otherwise we had everything we needed :) Andre was very quick to respond with any questions.
