The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The surroundings impress with their proximity to the Donnerschwee meadows and their beautiful cycling and walking paths. Nevertheless, everyday necessities are within a few minutes' walk or on foot.

The city center and the Bremen "Viertel" (Ostertor/Steintor) can also be easily reached. You can walk to the nearest tram stops in about 5 minutes. A cat lives downstairs in the house. There is internet with WiFi access ! However, no super fast fiber optic cable ! Not selectable here in the center!

If you're looking for a peaceful place to relax amidst beautiful fields and greenery, this is the place for you. The modern apartment consists of a large living/dining area, a bedroom with a double-bed and a large bathroom. A garden house with a sauna and bicycles may also be used for a small fee. The charming city of Oldenburg (15 km away) is a great place to go shopping and is also known for its diverse cultural events and night-life.

There are three CATS (Mieke, Erwin and Kurt) living with us in the lower level. They might visit you if the door is open.
