The hosts and their family are incredibly warm and helpful—Kamlaji even walked to the road early in the cold morning to guide us to the location. A truly wonderful experience!

We had the most beautiful stay at Omtara Homestay, nestled in the serene forests of lower Dharamkot. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a sanctuary - quiet, green, & full of soul.The homestay is surrounded by nature, tucked away in a peaceful valley that feels worlds apart from the noise, yet is just a short walk from the heart of Dharamkot.What truly made the experience unforgettable were the hosts — Ria, Haridaas, and their lovely daughter Viola.They welcomed us with open hearts and a warmth that instantly made us feel at home. Ria’s gentle presence & care,Hari’s calm energy, & Viola’s joyful spirit created such a loving atmosphere that we found ourself deeply relaxed and connected.The space itself is simple,clean,& peaceful with little touches of warmth . Waking up to the sounds of birds and the breeze moving through the trees was pure magic.If U’r looking for a soulful, grounding retreat surrounded by nature and kind-hearted people,This is the place to be.

We had such a wonderful stay here! We stayed for two nights and the experience felt more like staying with family than at a rental. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming and aunty, who made us lovely breakfast and even packed dinner for our bus journey when we left. They were so accommodating with our schedule, allowing us a very late check-in, and even after checkout, they let us leave our luggage at the house and come back later to freshen up before we continued our travels. Their kindness and hospitality truly made our trip special. We would love to come back and stay with them again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a homely and heartfelt experience!
