The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

ACCOMMODATION as described in a peaceful place in the countryside of Amsterdam, the welcome of Sheniva top, beautiful environment, I recommend it.

Our team of 6 people, business travel after one night, 1, the owner of the house proactively communicated to confirm the arrival time, it was planned to arrive at 8:30, the actual arrival was 9:30 -10, with 1 hour notice, the host was very patient; 2, There is a tree house and a swing in the house; 3. Easy parking🅿️; 4. Surrounded by 2.5km sea and beach, there are shells on the beach🐚, which is suitable for walking to see the beach🏖️;

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

We stayed with Onno in April 2025 with my wife, son and parents. The house is really wonderful, has everything you need and is very nicely decorated. The location is great, with the bikes that are at the house, we are through the Bollenstreek and had a fantastic time.

We had a great time during our girlfriend weekend. A lovely cottage with nice amenities. Everything was thought of. We also enjoyed the outdoor space very much. Perfect for a weekend with friends or family. Hari is incredibly friendly. We will be happy to come back!

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

I spent some lovely days at Siennie's place with my dog. The check-in and check-out were uncomplicated, there is a parking space directly at the house. The place was clean and there was everything you need. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The highlight was of course the beach within walking distance. Unfortunately, you only learn on site that dogs are not allowed to go to bed on the sofa or with them. It would have been nice to get this information before booking. Other than that, everything else was perfect, and I felt very comfortable at the place.

We were very excited about the yard, the garden and the apartment. There are so many beautiful details that you would need many days to discover everyone. Everything was so creative and cozy, you can tell that a lot of work, passion and love is in things. We also liked the animals very much.... We had a very warm welcome and lots of great tips for excursions - just because we were also traveling with dogs, it was wonderful that they could also have their fun and we could take them everywhere...we had a nice time and filled them well! Thanks to Patries and Mike and their animals!!

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

Very nice, communicative hostess. The surroundings were very nice to walk the dog. The cottage has everything you need. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We had nice conversations with Trienie and she gave us good tips for doing things. We will be happy to return.

Great place to stay with a great host, and we used the bikes provided often. Only 5 min bike ride to the train station & grocery store. Photos are a little outdated and it can get cold due to the nature of the construction.

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation in Zandvoort. The apartment was exactly as described and in the photos – clean, cozy and very welcoming. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location is just perfect – close to the beach, town and yet quiet. Annette was a great host: very friendly, easily accessible and with great tips for the area. We will definitely be happy to come back!

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

A quick ride from Amsterdam Central to a small harbor off the Main Street. Walkable to all the main attractions in Central Amsterdam and an easy spot to catch an Uber if you want to go further. The houseboat was as described on a quiet dock with friendly neighbors and two awesome houseboat cats Bo and Skipper. This was especially important since we were in town when Kings Day occurred and after a walk around the festivities, it was nice to retire from the craziness and relax on top of the houseboat. The host met us onboard walked us through everything and provided easy contact information for use during our stay. Check-out was a breeze. A great find and a great value!

I felt very comfortable in the beautifully decorated car. Also because it was something different. The welcome by Jose' was very friendly. I'd love to come back.

A cozy beautiful place outside Amsterdam. The pool, the jacuzzi and the green space give you the perfect place to start and end your day after long walks in the crowded Amsterdam. We had to use Uber to go from and to Amsterdam which ended up costing us around 30-35€ per ride. There are instructions about public transport but when we checked online it would take about an hour to commute (we’re thinking maybe we checked at times where the bus was unavailable since the instructions from the host said it would take shorter). The pool and the jacuzzi would definitely benefit from bit more cleaning since the water was bit cloudy. Still, overall , absolutely worth it and we enjoyed our stay.

Had a lovely weekend in this spacious home. All amenities are available. Also enjoyed the infrared sauna.

We were very lucky to be able to stay with Evelin spontaneously from Friday to Sunday. We liked the place very much. The children loved the daily view into the cowshed. Despite the cow stable, it didn't smell in the apartment. The surroundings are fantastic and you can get to know the country and people wonderfully.

Our stay met our expectations. We own a sailboat and are aware of the space restrictions involved. We enjoy different experiences and this fit the bill. Steven is very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. We took advantage of the tugboat tour Steven offers to his guests and this was a more intimate experience than we would otherwise have had on a canal trip in Amsterdam. Steven gave us the opportunity to experience bitter ballen and Skipper bitters at an old Dutch pub. For those who are adventurous and able bodied, this is a stay to put on the list!!
