It is located on the Westfriese Omringdijk, where you can take beautiful cycling or walking tours in the area. You will be staying in an apartment in our farm. This also means that you may hear us walking up the stairs and that you can hear us walking on the first floor. De Buizerd: a super cozy, spacious guest house in the tail of a West Frisian stolpboerderij overlooking the meadows, located close to the beach and the dunes of Bergen and Schoorl. This spacious and cozy house sleeps six adults and/or children. For example, a family with two children and grandparents (who have their bedroom and private bathroom downstairs). Or a group of friends looking for a nice location for their annual get-together weekend.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
