This stylish place is close to must-see destinations. If you like the outdoors head five miles east to Allan Park. You’ll find hiking trails, snowshoeing, tobogganing and cross country skiing. Four miles south takes you to Saugeen Conservation Centre where you’ll see Swans a swimming and the nature trails will take you to the Sulphur Spring. Hanover’s P&H Centre hosts an indoor pool and ice rink. A short drive gets you to the beaches on Lake Huron. Enjoy horse races in summer and Casino.

Tiny Home Camping for 2 with Hot Tub & Outhouse

Experience a unique winter camping retreat for two in our wood-stove-heated tiny home. Complete with an outdoor shower, outhouse, covered hot tub, and a propane BBQ for cooking. The campfire pit and picnic table sitting area are open all year. This holiday rental setup is designed for couples and located on our working hobby farm right off a main highway. * Please note, the outdoor shower and bar closes seasonally due to freezing temperatures with no alternative available. It is a very private 1 acre property with an incredible view of water, escarpment and wildlife. Enjoy more than 1,000 sq. ft. of living space including beds for 5, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with large screen TV and full bathroom. Your hosts live on sight in the main level of the house.

WINTER SPECIAL Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place. 30 to 40 minutes to Port Elgin and Southampton, and 75 minute drive to Tobermory. The hot tub is always waiting. Full kitchen and bathroom available for your own use. New queen size bed replacing the queen sized pull out couch. In the warmer weather there is two kayaks and a canoe available for guests use plus four adult life jackets. Also close to Harrison park and the mill dam and you can go by river.

It is nestled in the edge of the bush, that provides kilometres of hiking trails. The cabin is also situated on a pond so you can spend your days swimming, canoeing, fishing and exploring this nature lover's paradise. Spend your time here unplugging from your everyday life and reconnecting to the healing properties of a natural environment.

Suite on the Creek

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located walkout apartment. The suite backs onto the Niagara escarpment and sections of the Bruce Trail. Though you’ll feel secluded in nature, head out front and you can walk downtown in less than 15 minutes. Rest well in the king-sized bed that looks out onto the walking bridge in the back yard. Enjoy cozy evenings in with a movie and a fire, or relax with a book in your private backyard sitting area.

Bunkie in the Country

Now CLOSED until spring The bunkie has a great view of the sunrise. It's a quiet rural area (please note it is a GRAVEL road). Good for couples, solo adventurers, hunters, someone looking to be outside of town. The bunkie is located approx. 30 feet behind our home. For allergenic reasons and safety of animals, we do not allow pets. May not be suitable for those with mobility issues (small hill & stairs). The bunkie has heat and A/C!

Peaceful cabin-in-the-woods 50 acre private forest

Relax in a charming cordwood cabin on an off-grid property powered entirely by solar energy. Enjoy exclusive use of 50 acres of varied woodlands with over 4km marked & maintained nature trails (loaner snowshoes provided!) and special features like a SoundForest, a meditative walking labyrinth, plus a sauna made of local cedar... it’s like having your own private park! There’s even an option ($) to have a breakfast basket brought out.

Conveniently located to the historic sites, waterfalls, the Bruce trail, rail trails for hiking and snowmobiling. Short 20 minute drive to Owen Sound. Sauble Beach 40 minutes. Tobermory drive 1 hr 1/2. Markdale 20 minutes. Enjoy the sites surrounding or a peaceful night by the campfire with campfire wood provided.
