“Roma is a great communicator, responding quickly to messages and offering very helpful advice. The apartment is spacious, clean and quiet, in a lovely residental area with lots of parking available right outside. Supermarkets and bus services to the city and the airport are closeby so although it is a little way outside the city, it is still very convenient to everything. The beds are very comfortable, and my son and I felt very much at home there. I would recommend to others and love to come back to stay another time.”
House was built in 1910 and retains its period features. It has a historic connection with Michael Collins. Bathrooms have just been upgraded with a bath with shower in one and a power shower in the second. House is a 25 minute walk from Grafton Street and 15 minutes from the Aviva Stadium. Herbert Park is just a 5 minute stroll and there are many local restaurants and pubs.
“If you do not choose to stay with Colm, then you will truly be missing out on a great opportunity. This may be my 21st Air BnB experience, and it was the best. About the host: Colm knows what it is to be a great host, and goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are happy and comfortable. He is extremely friendly, kind, attentive, and a great conversationalist. He is also very happy to help with information regarding transportation to/from airport, the city center, etc., and information regarding Dublin sightseeing. Perfect host for an independent introvert (like me) and extroverts alike. About the Amenities: first, the room I stayed in was very nicely decorated, and the bathroom was renovated - both were bright and made the stay all that much more comfortable. Colm keeps the Air BnB private room, bathroom, and parlor (with a working fireplace to be used!) *extremely* clean. It feels like staying in a cozy hotel (which is awesome because of the reasonable price!). Fresh towels, around the clock espresso machine, ten or so types of tea and hot water at the ready, breakfast bars, liters of water (which Colm constantly refills so you have a fresh liter whenever you are finished with the last), shampoo/conditioner, and even wine glasses and cork screw all available. About Location: Colm’s home is located in a beautiful area of Dublin. It is a really pretty walk from his place to the city center (Trinity College, museums, Saint Stephens Green, Temple Bar, etc.) and not long at all (approx 30 min which goes by fast because of the scenery). The neighborhood is very safe and extremely quiet (a nice respite from the loud excitement that is Dublin). A skittish person myself, I felt perfectly safe walking from Temple Bar area/ city center back home every night alone (and as a woman, this says a lot). 100% would stay again! Thank you, Colm!”
Beautiful spacious suite - newly remodeled!! Bedroom features high quality memory foam queen mattress with high end modern furniture including loveseat and desk. Ample room for clothes in frosted glass sliding closet and large chest of drawers. Tucked away in one section is a small fridge, microwave, kettle and Nespresso maker. Super convenient location, beside Bective Rugby grounds and Herbert Park and short walk to RDS. Less than a 5 minute walk to bus stop and Aircoach stop.
“Nice spacious place, super clean, very well-equipped, and the owner is super kind and helpful. Good internet! The place is situated quite close to a bus station, or 40 min walk from the city center. You have to let her know how much heat or little heat you want upstairs during the cold seasons. The room can get a bit noisy from the creaks of the building during the night (if you are a sensitive sleeper.) The water pressure is quite low when taking a shower so have patience!”
