Farmstay vacation rentals in Douglas County

Great little place in the forest, yet close to town. There was a group of 6 of us and it was the perfect amount of space. From start to finish Sally was the perfect host. She is very helpful, yet gives you your space. The house reminded me of a place I grew up in as a kid. Cabin like feel with all the amenities. We took our teenage kids snowboarding and cooked them dinner after a long day on the mountain. Plenty of cookware and dishes for all of us. The beds were cozy and having a wood stove was the icing on the cake. The property has other rentals and a group site camp ground. It would be great for a large gathering with friends and family. We will definitely book a place on Sally’s property the next time we are in Oakridge!

The location was excellent for us, so close to Crater Lake National Park's south entrance. It's also an amazing place for stargazing--just step outside the door! The cabin has lots of character and is thoughtfully equipped. Our stay was so quiet and peaceful. We appreciated the flannel sheets and plentiful blankets. Tracy is very responsive and her instructions were so helpful and clear!

I came with my college student for a quick weekend away. We immediately felt at ease with Katja and her guest cottage. We were able to see her farm animals and give them some love and attention. It was absolutely lovely! The cottage was warm and inviting. We slept great as the beds were comfortable. The surroundings were peaceful with the sound of the creek outside. We enjoyed great conversations as well. Both of her dogs were friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching them play, particularly her younger dog. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. We hope to return one day!

Lovely stay at the Carriage House. Sally was incredibly helpful and reached out to us when we were running late to be sure we could find the place. She also had a clean and well appointed space. My husband and I spent two action packed days cross-country skiing and enjoyed coming home to hot water and a comfortable bed at the end of the day. Highly recommend!!!

Bonnie’s place is beautiful! We stayed while visiting family and the setting is just fantastic! Very quiet and peaceful, beautiful setting on the river. We enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife and hearing the river. The kitchen is well equipped with everything one needs to cook. Thank you, Bonnie, for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The cabin we stayed in was quite delightful. We stayed there a weekend in January in order to be close to snowboarding at Willamette Pass. The cabin and another house are in the woods. It is incredibly quiet there and the stars are out brilliant to see at night. But, it is only a four minute drive into town and then around a half an hour to get to Willamette Pass. I hope to stay there again soon !

An absolutely incredible place to stay. We stayed for a month as a writers retreat. Fantastic atmosphere and friendly hosts. Order the meats, they are terrific. Town is far and same with things to do. Maybe you will like that. We did. The waterfalls around are a drive but incredible. The safari park is forty minutes away but one of the cooler things you can do in your own car. Michael and his team are thoughtful, considerate, and available to the degree you desire. Truly five-star level service. It is a ranch house on a farm. If that is what you are looking for, like we were, it is perfect.

This is our second stay at Kyle and Elke’s place and we would certainly stay there again if and when we are back in the area. A very peaceful setting and comfortable accommodation that was just right for us.

This is a very well designed cottage right off the highway (no highway noise, though), overlooking a green field and forest beyond. I have never stayed in an Airbnb that was so meticulously set up for guests. There's everything for cooking, including a range of spices, take-home containers for leftovers, and Christine's homemade pasta sauce (and pasta) if you'd prefer to stay in for dinner. There were also two very large homemade cookies, four farm-fresh eggs in the fridge, and an array of condiments. This place is a must stay for anyone in the Umpqua Valley.

We had a beautiful time here! The surrounding nature is absolutely gorgeous and the little cabin is perfection! It is so warm and inviting! I absolutely would stay again when I visit Southern Oregon. They even left complementary breakfast items to use!

This was our fourth year coming to the ranch for our family's annual snow trip. We always have such a wonderful time. Heidi and Mark are always very quick to respond and always extremely helpful. The house is just amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked and has two ovens and extra large pots, also,which worked great for the 12 of us. It is our home away from home.

Wow! Gorgeous landscaping and views of the valley, river and hills. And rolling fields of baby Christmas trees! Even on a gray, soggy weekend it was lovely. Would be a great spot for a wedding. Guest house is way more spacious than expected and we were greeted by a warm, hand written note and cheery pellet-stove fire. Just enough seasonal decor sprinkled about to make it feel like we were visiting a much-loved home. The bed was super-comfy and access into and throughout the house was easy for mobility-challenged guests. Communication with the hosts was great. Can't wait to come back!

Truly one of a kind experience. We loved every moment of our stay and didn’t want to leave. Couldn’t ask for more. Soul filling time. The nature is absolutely breathtaking and the property itself is very peaceful and special. Makes you feel so connected to nature. Everything about the stay at the cabin was so serene: morning sunrises, the animals, seeing wildlife (elk or deer roaming on the fields) , beautiful sunsets and amazing views of the Milky Way. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here so much! The ranch is so peaceful, quiet and cozy with stunning surroundings. The accommodation had everything we needed and more, we felt right at home. Also the bed was super comfy. A definite highlight was being able to feed the cows and horses in the morning, such a great memory! Thanks Toni for making the stay so great :)

Valley’s End tiny house is thoughtfully appointed, cheerfully decorated and a little jewel box of a place to get away from it all. And, considering all this property has to offer, you get a lot for your money. Kevin and her family have attended to all the details—from the very comfortable bed to the many options for hanging out in the outdoor spaces to the lighted path to the toilet. There is some human activity around but not much—the house is situated in a private spot in an agricultural area. My wife and I could see the river out of one window of the bedroom loft and a flock of sheep out the other. The river is the star of the show but the trademark rolling hills of Southern Oregon are also pretty magical. If you are a member of a community that is underrepresented in rural areas, don’t be afraid to come to this property. It is a safe getaway for you and your family.

We've had a great time during our extended stay at Pachamama Farm. It is a peaceful location with beautiful surroundings. The host is friendly and responds to messages promptly. We can't recommend them enough!

We had a great time! The special amenities of farm fresh goodies were incredible! The place was so comfortable. The opportunity to purchase farm fresh meat was a plus! For a quiet, country getaway, it was top notch!!

This place was great! It’s in a really peaceful setting and the house itself is just cool! I would recommend bringing some rubber boots if staying during the rainy season because it’s a bit muddy around the outside of the house but that is to be expected while staying at a farm. Nathan and his family were super helpful and friendly! There are multiple trails close by and a lot of cool scenery to explore in the area. I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful scenery, tons of green grass and trees. Awesome view with the rain looking down the hill/private road. The home is old, clean and charming. Definitely will be back.

As an RV, Dean's place is not as spacious as an apartment or a house, but as RV's go - it was extremely well appointed and comfortable. All the amenities you'd expect in a home - Keurig coffee maker, microwave, hot water/sink, good sized fridge/freezer. The seating and fireplace are very comfortable and inviting. What is great is there is both a dining area as well as two recliner chairs facing the flatscreen TV. The surrounding area is beautiful countryside, horses in the pasture, rolling hills in the distance. A comfortable 20 min from downtown Eugene makes this an easy journey in and out of the city to get to a serene environment. Dean met us as we arrived and ensured we were settled properly with no questions. We will definitely be returning!

This was my first ever airbnb rental and it was awesome! Christina's house was just fantastic, the peacefulness of the property is just unreal. We watched the birds in the morning on the front porch while we enjoyed breakfast. The sunsets from the property are amazing as well. The house had everything we needed, we will definitely be back when we come back to Cottage Grove!

We are local to Elkton and stayed to remedy an issue at our home. Lisa was a gracious host and helped accommodate us with what we needed. The house was perfect for our family and we really enjoyed the scenery and when Lisa took us to visit the cows. The pavilion was also a hit for us. We were able to barbecue some steaks while it was raining and play a few rounds of Uno. Very relaxing.
