I stayed here in one of the coldest months of the year, and the room was a little cold at the beginning. However, Joyce was very helpful and and easy to talk to, and she provided an extra blanket, a better heater, and a winter cap which helped me immensely in coping with the temperature (in fact I didn't feel cold at all after that). Thank you so much.

I had a great stay at Joyce's place. The room was clean with a great view of the hills below, the breakfast was great, the neighborhood was quiet, and the house was just a ten minute walk from the botanical garden (down the hill). A friendly cat too. Thanks for having me over, Joyce!

This was my second stay at Jeanette's so that likely says it all. Very nice accommodation with everything you need for a short stay. Very comfy bed. Loved the view of the city and the 30 minute walk to the Octagon. For those without cars, the bus system is great.

We had the most wonderful time at Sally’s and Keri’s place. It is located in beautiful surroundings, lots of nature and places to visit the sea and take a walk. The hot tub should win an award for “most beautiful view from a hot tub”. With unmatched hospitality, great breakfast and the friendliest dog we can not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for having us!

It was a unique and memorable opportunity to stay at the Middlemarch property where my mother, Natalie, had lived from 1927 to 1944. I had spent many holidays there and so it was a most fulfilling experience to introduce my grownup children and two young grandchildren to the ancestral home and heritage. We also scattered my 97yo mother’s ashes on the Rock & Pillar Range behind Strathmore. Liz was very hospitable and showed us through the main house where she lives. She also provided delicious homemade yogurt with apricots, raspberry and blackcurrant jams and locally sourced honey for breakfast & snacks. We met several lovely neighbours and local personalities during our 3 day stay. We enjoyed eating at the local Kissing Gate cafe and the Strath Taieri Hotel. The landscape was magnificent and we really enjoyed all aspects of our stay.

As anticipated and expected from the photos, Quaint and funky, wonderful place at the end of the road. Margaret was friendly and helpful, she felt like a friend immediately on meeting her. A delightful few days away

Absolutely the best airbnb stay we've ever had. If you love animals, great views over the Pacific ocean and a welcoming host, you have to stay at Greg's. Greg's warm hospitality is amazing, with his freshly baked bread and tour around his property to greet all his animals. He even prepared food for us to feed the alpacas and Dallas the horse, really allowing us to experience a farm stay. Also Buster the cat is always there in the morning waiting outside our door to greet us. A super friendly purring machine. Icing on the cake will be the gorgeous clifftop ocean views just in his backyard, which we got to catch the stunning sunrise on a clear day. Location wise is a convenient 15 min drive to central town, easily reachable. Room itself was cosy with enough privacy to ourselves. Thank you once again for being so friendly yet never intrusive. It was lovely too to meet his daughter Nicole and his cute grandkids. Highly recommend!
