“Loved our stay! The room was private, quaint, and clean. Great location across from a gorgeous expansive meadow, just a few minutes driving from most of the shops and restaurants in downtown Mount Shasta, and 15-30 mins from tons of amazing hikes in Shasta Trinity Forest. Loved talking with Buzz and family around their amazing firepit. Buzz and his wife have lived in the area for 30 years a small have amazing locals-only tips about the best hiking and camping. Sauna was a huge bonus!”

“My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for the long Labor Day weekend. The place was everything we expected and then some! The place itself had all of the amenities needed if you wanted to prepare meals yourself including an outdoor charcoal grill for those grill masters! The outside seating area was wonderful and serene to relax in after a long day of activities. In addition to all of that, we loved the proximity to all - including the plethora of fantastic waterfalls ranging in distance from Nicky’s such as Mossbrae - 30 minute walk to Burney - hour drive. Nicky has great suggestions in her guidebook that will more than fill a long weekend stay! We stayed 5 nights and didn’t even get to half of the list. We highly recommend!”

“Laurie and Randy's cottage was, hands down, the best AirBnB experience I've ever had. Staying there was every bit as comfortable as being in our own homes. They've just thought of absolutely everything a guest could want, and are incredibly responsive with communication. We loved sitting on the porch swing, listening to the chickens in the coop, and watching the neighborhood blue jays swoop up looking for handouts. In the evening, we cooked on the grill and sat in the hot tub. Really great experience, can't recommend it strongly enough.”
