Monthly Rentals in Dupont Circle

This apartment is terrific. It’s beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We stayed for a month so we used the kitchen quite a bit. It had everything we needed. There’s lots of clothes storage space and bathroom storage space. There’s a nicely sized desk and comfortable chair if you have to work while you’re there. And it’s great having a washer/dryer on site. You couldn’t ask for a better location in DC. It’s about a 10 minute walk to DuPont Circle and the Metro. The DuPont Farmers’ Market on Sunday is definitely worth doing. Lots of prepared foods, baked goods, coffee, and fresh produce. There are a ton of really good restaurants on 18th St. and at DuPont. And, the Cakeroom Bakery is 154 ft from the apartment. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad. Lucie is very responsive to anything you might need. I would caution that there are quite a few stairs and could be challenging if you have any knee or mobility issues. We hope to go back and stay here again. It was perfect.

This was a great place in a great location. We really didn’t ask too much of Ryan and we were just fine left to our own devises. He was great…there if we needed otherwise completely unobtrusive. If I were to complain about anything it would be the bed and pillows. Perhaps I’m being a little “princess and the pea”, but the bed seemed to sink toward the middle and the pillows were firm. But I would absolutely stay there again.

Very easy and right in the thick of things at Dupont.

I found my stay at Maison Dupont exceptional, with extra kudos to the host for how responsive and friendly they were. The room and bathroom were very clean, and it appears the loud building door slamming issue other reviewers had mentioned was resolved before our stay. At one point, an alarm at the entrance started going off. Although the noise was at a bearable level with earplugs, I reached out to the host to alert them of this issue, and they responded within 5 min with instructions for how to disable it even though it was quite late at night by then and reassured us that a technician would fix the issue soon. For the inconvenience of helping them taking care of it, they refunded us a bit, which was very appreciated! The host was also very accommodating when I asked if I could store our luggage with them after check-out since our flight that day was in the evening and we didn’t want to lug our suitcases around with us till then. I would definitely stay here again!
