Chalet vacation rentals in Dwingeloo

We had a wonderful time at this cottage around Christmas. The cottage is located on a dead-end road and you can walk into the woods where you can walk endlessly. A well fenced garden ideal for dog, bunk bed and high chair for our kids and everything we needed. Absolutely recommended. The only "lesser point" is that we did not find the arrangement of the furniture so cozy/logical, but it is also a rather difficult layout to set it up properly. Marja was a very friendly host with clear communication in advance. In other words, recommended!

Everything was as expected and without any problems

The place was super nice. Everything worked out easily and quickly with the check in. The equipment was good. Everything you need. Everything clean. Berber responds super quickly and super friendly. We were even allowed to bring our dog. The owner of the square is very sweet and helps in all situations. The place is just so incredibly cute and mega dog friendly. We will definitely be back.

A small chalet, sufficient from the space for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 baby. Very quiet location, but the nearest city can be reached very quickly. The chalet was equipped with the minimal equipment and appropriately furnished.

Beautiful area and great nature to hike. We loved it. Emmy’s place is perfect for a couple of days away from the city, we spent new years at her place. Since it was winter we didn’t sit outside. I can imgaine in summer time there is not that much privacy since the cabin is part of a parc with lots of cabins. We also paid a visit to Ommen. Nice town. Love to stay again!

A very nice host who tried to make it possible for us to have a nice stay. The garden is large. Football was possible. The house and rooms are very small. Few ways to hang clothes or store the suitcase reasonably. However, the location right on the water is fantastic. The basement with dart, billiards and foosball table is also a small highlight! All in all recommendable. We'd love to come back !

First, I would like to list the many positive things. Anneke and Frans are extremely friendly, helpful and respond very quickly. So communication was great. They even put a small guest gift for us. The house also includes two bikes we could use. We smaller tours have been sufficient for this. The living room in the house is very spacious, the armchairs are very comfortable, the kitchen is super equipped. Also the bedroom offers enough storage space and the bed is comfortable. Outside is a large patio table and chairs. It's a great place to eat. There is also a small grill. The environment is very quiet and close to nature. You definitely have your peace. The nearest supermarkets are within easy reach by bike or by car. There is a small swimming lake and an outdoor swimming pool, in Noordwolde Noord also some snacks and shops. There is also a small forest nearby where you can walk the dog or go jogging, for example. Now two small negative points. If it is very warm outside (>28 degrees) unfortunately it gets very warm in the house and it only cools down very slowly at night. Now you're out in the best weather anyway. The bathroom is very small and a bit outdated. We would recommend a modernization here. Especially the sink was super small. On the whole, a very nice place to stay in the middle of nature. We had a great stay.

We stayed 3 nights in the beautiful chalet, it was clean and cozy . There were plenty of play opportunities in the house for our little daughter. The area is beautiful and clean , all very friendly . The beach is within walking distance. Swimming pool playgrounds & restaurants have been great. You could explore the area nicely with the bicycles provided. We will be happy to come back & more often.

Josiane's vacation home was a beautiful, modern new stay at a lovely place on the campsite by the beach. We stayed here as a family of 3 one night and combined it with a visit to family and a trip to the Sprookjeshof. What was extremely nice was the quick and pleasant communication in advance. We were also really thought along with us and even an extra heater was arranged due to our child. The best part was a nice walk with our child on the beach that is really next to the cottage.

What a great house this is. Nicely decorated, good kitchen and bathroom and a nice bed. Everything you could want is there. Made up beds, piles of towels and kitchen linens, very clean. It makes you feel very welcome as a guest.

For our family, it was the first holiday in Friesland. From arrival to departure very surprised about the accommodation , the location of the accommodation in the park and not to mention the area. Despite the changing weather, we (thanks in part to Akke's tips), we were able to do a lot in the region. A beautiful and relaxing environment with plenty of activities (paid and unpaid). Highly recommended is renting a boat (at the park) and taking a boat trip over the lake. Fantastic!! Furthermore neat park. Friendly welcome and guidance. Excellent facilities for a very pleasant stay. The same applies to our host Akke. Top arranged all! We'd love to come back.

The Charlet was very clean, everything was as described. We had some problems with the gas at first and called Dirk. He was able to help us immediately and was super nice! The surroundings are really nice, you can get to Giethoorn within less than 10 minutes by car, which is really super convenient. And also by canoe/boat, which you can park right outside the door, you get directly into the water. It was really nice there and I would recommend the place to anyone anytime!

Brenda‘s caravan was very nice and clean, everything like in the pictures. The camping grounds are very beautiful and well equipped. The best was sitting on the big bench in the caravan‘s main room, looking directly at a small river and watching the ducks swim. :) It took us a bit to figure out how the heating works but there‘s a description on the shelf by the couch and Brenda answers questions quickly. Thank you for the wonderful relaxing stay!

My family and I had a great 2 night stay. The listing was as shown in the photos and was a perfect base for our weekend exploring the area. The host was very friendly and responsive. Thank you for a great stay. 😊

We had a really nice time at the chalet! The place was exactly as described – clean, cozy and equipped with everything you might need. The forest area nearby was a real highlight for us – perfect for walking, unwinding and enjoying nature. The location was quiet, but still well connected. Hennie and Johannes were very warm and helpful, we felt welcome right from the beginning. Thank you both – we will be happy to come back!

Owners are very kind and communicative. Whatever I needed they were always ready to help. Even due late booking they were able to make appartment ready within few hours. We enjoyed staying there and have no problem to come back again whenever we are around.

We had a great stay at Nikos' beautiful chalet. Very peaceful and quiet surroundings, and a really nice beach 1 minute away from the house. Only minor gripe was the kitchen not having basics like oil, salt and pepper, so we needed to drive back to the supermarket to get that before we could start cooking dinner. Other than that, no complaints!
