Built out of brick, our cabin is directly on Hilton Creek for your enjoyment of all four seasons. Surrounded by pure rushing water and a quaking aspen glade, this Eastern Sierra location borders on magical. See for yourself, our photos show just a glimpse!
“This lovely spot was originally a simple fishing cabin, built in the 1930s. The owners, John and Isabel, added a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette, with handmade counters from local trees. The wood burning stove is amazing, the bed is super comfy and there are lots of cool touches inside, including Talking Battleship! We heated the yummy turkey pot pie we picked up from Erick Schat’s Bakery in Bishop on the stove. The resident kitty, Rocky, is a doll, too. But the real draw is roaring just outside the door, with a big creek running right alongside the deck and a stand of gorgeous aspens on the opposite shore. Hop across one of the bridges and you’re in the forest! Plus, Mammoth is just 20 minutes away. Great base for exploring the Sierra in all seasons!”

“The place and hosts are amazing. Absolutely recommend it. Everything is clean and nice. The interior is cozy , we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Don't forget to ask Karl and Theresa about local points of interest, you would be surprised how many things are there even though it looks like an empty desert at a first glance.”
