Come enjoy a relaxing get away on beautiful Sugar Bottom Road. A great place for the outdoor enthusiast, no matter the season. Ideal also for quiet relaxation and privacy. We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

The Milk House at Lucky Star Farm

The Milk House is a unique space located in the countryside, between Iowa City and Kalona. This 700 square foot home has ample parking and room for four adults. The house is well appointed with a full kitchen, two luxurious queen beds, wifi and a Smart TV. Guests are invited to explore our 20-acre working farm with lots of livestock and two friendly dogs. Come back to your suite and slip into one of our custom robes while you fill the whirlpool for a night or relaxation.

The Lincoln Highway Hideaway

The Lincoln Highway Hideaway is a studio apartment nestled in Belle Plaine along the historic Lincoln Highway. A former Maid Rite restaurant, it features two queen-sized beds, a 3/4 bathroom with shower, and private parking. We focus on short term stays, although we sometimes rent a month at a time to traveling workers. (Please message me ahead of time with details if this situation pertains to you.) We offer a 15% discount/week. 40% per month.
