Kid-friendly vacation rentals in East Flanders

The house was clean, comfortable and quiet. We had everything we needed. The mattresses and linens were of good quality.

The place is amazing, super cozy and perfect to stay with friend. Also a handy distance from Ghent. Super recommend and I would for sure come back!

We are a family of four that wanted to see Ghent and Brugge but still wanted some space for the kids to run around. This was a perfect location. They even had a bunch of outdoor play equipment like a soccer ball and nets and a croquet set. After a chilly day of site seeing it was nice to come back to a warm cozy fire. As other reviews has said it is really close to the road and hiking trails are about 10 minutes by car. We did not find the noise to be very bad. Very nice clean home!!

Fantastic accommodation and hosts were really exceptional. We went on a cycling weekend to watch the classics and it was the perfect location to base ourselves. We will be returning next year.

A lovely, spacious and comfortable property in a wonderful rural setting. We wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and this certainly ticked all boxes. The nearby forests are minutes away by car, and this allowed us to take our dog on some fantastic walks each day. The nearby town of Ronse/Renaix has everything you could need. Multiple supermarkets and big shops and good places to get a take away if you should feel like it. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! We’d have loved to be here for longer - the flat felt like home immediately, and Rudy’s messages were so kind and helpful. The apartment is one of the loveliest places we’ve stayed - such a wonderful array of antique furnishings - beautiful quirky details everywhere you look. Fab high ceilings, lovely wooden floors, a great shower and easy to cook in the kitchen. It’s an exceptionally peaceful residential location - totally quiet at night, and yet a short pretty walk from the busy centre. Thanks to Rudy for making us feel very welcome. Ghent is utterly charming, and the apartment feels like such a labour of love - it absolutely made our stay.

We had a great stay, the apartment is spacious and light. It was in a peaceful neighbourhood right in the city centre & everything was in walking distance or buses & teams nearby. The apartment was very clean and everything we needed was there. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, and super clean, and Bart was a very friendly and helpful host. The historic building, unique architecture, and view of the cathedral from all the windows make this place so unique and special, and it was a highlight of our trip. The location is perfect and easily walkable to everything in Ghent, with easy access to trams, etc. This is a very busy area in the center of town, and you can hear just a bit of noise from the street at night (especially on weekends), but it was not an issue for us. The beds were all very comfortable. Note that there is 1 bathroom with sink/shower/toilet, and also a second bathroom with just a toilet/sink (very convenient for larger groups). We also appreciated having the washer and dryer right in unit. The building has an elevator, so you don't have to carry luggage up lots of stairs, which was also very helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Ghent!

Perfect for a two night stay in Ghent. Everywhere was walkable and the apartment was lovely with everything you would need. Willem was very very helpful with instructions and details about access to the property and we utilised his vast list of recommendations which were super helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying here. We chose this place for the parking so if you’re thinking of bringing a vehicle it’s ideal!

Had a great stay in this apartment. Very nice communication with Anne-Marie and goes above and beyond to make you a nice stay. The beers were cold upon arrival and there were already plenty of snacks available. The location is great. Everything is within walking distance. Had a great weekend!
