Miner

The Miner cabin is small & cozy with one room and a full bath with shower. There is a counter with a two eye burner plug-in stove, microwave, toaster, Keurig, and a mini fridge. Coffee, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, basic cookware, and dishes are supplied. The cabin sits as one of six across from the historic Paxton Lodge. It is walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our private sand beach. We have a few walking/hiking trails on the property, or drive to others. Lawn games and more!

Relax in style in this rural remote place. A former trailer turned small home, where you can enjoy civilization and wilderness all in the same location. Hike up the mountain or relax watching tv (bring your own Netflix, YouTube, amazon accounts- apps are appearing on TV. Your fire stick will work, too). Verizon service is full bars. AT&T and T-mobile is not working there. You will have to take screenshots of checkin directions in advance and set up Wi-Fi calling when you get there.

Come enjoy this peaceful location just about 2.5 miles from East Quincy. Beautiful meadow views with Sandhill Cranes, bucks, does, and fawns. Farmers occasionally baling their hay and the neighboring horses hanging out. Beautiful kitchen with an abundant amount of dishes and cooking needs. Fox and bear decor throughout the house. Comfy beds, deep clawfoot tub, master bedroom viewing deck and a full deck downstairs with plenty of seating.

We are a pet-friendly dwelling and welcome all pets who have good house manners. As we do live upstairs with 3 pets - there will be some footsteps from time to time. This unit stays nice and cool in the summer and there are heaters to keep warm in the winter. There is lots of space to socialize and a full kitchen to utilize. Whether traveling for work or pleasure - The Storybook Suite will provide a cozy mountain farm retreat.
