We had an absolutely spectacular time staying with Gerette! Her beautiful cabin was everything we hoped for and more. Our golden retriever had the time of her life bounding through all of the snow!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Owl's Head Cabin for a long weekend skiing at Jay. The cabin is small and cozy, very warm, and the right size for two people for a weekend. In addition to the main bed, there's a loft with a sleeping area, but you'd have to be very small to get into it and enjoy it; I'd guess the cabin would be a bit small for a couple with children but maybe if you're out all day it'd be okay. Cooking appliances worked well. The one note of caution is that you have to drive on a somewhat rough, uphill dirt road for at least 3 or 4 miles to reach the cabin. We fortunately did not have to drive during a time when there was actively snow falling on the road, but the 2wd sedan we rented definitely would not have made it in those conditions; it was a little harrowing even with just the slush and ruts left after plowing. So be careful if your trip coincides with nastier weather! Jason was very communicative and left clear instructions. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Bruce was an excellent host! He gave great recommendations and clear instructions. The driving directions were so good we were able to find the place in the dark lol. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable, had everything we needed. The view in the morning was quite nice. The beds were warm and comfortable and the whole place was clean with more than enough towels and blankets. The only thing I'd note is that it's not entirely a true ski in/out experience. We were expecting to be able to ski right from the cabin door onto the hill (as per other ski in/out places we've rented) but if you did that, you'd end up skiing into a building (don't do that, haha) We had to carry our skis past a row of cabins and sheds to get to the hill where we were able to get on. I'd describe it as more of a slope-side cabin than ski in/out. It's not a big deal, still very convenient, just a bit different than described. Overall, I'd give it a 10/10, would recommend!

Darren is a great host, and this is a great place! He had plenty of great recommendations in the area, so we always had something to do. The lake itself is super pretty and very tranquil. Would highly recommend!

Kathy's place was absolutely lovely. A perfect hiding spot on the water with all of the beautiful options at the Craftsbury Outdoor center. Can't wait to come back!

We have rented this adorable log cabin many times and look forward to our next visit! The host is very responsive and friendly and we can not recommend this lovely stay enough.

Pleasant stay in this beautiful little refuge in the forest. The site is quiet and gives access to beautiful hiking trails. We'll definitely be back. 😊

Such a gem! So happy we found this very private spot. It was perfect for our weekend away with our family and our dogs. Home was super cute, VERY clean and truly one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed in as far as amenities. There were so many fresh clean towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and TONS of linens like extra blankets (I usually freeze in bed), even basic kitchen supplies. Got to meet the owner briefly and she is a DOLL! If we have the chance to stay in this area again, we would definitely go back! Don't hesitate if you like quiet private surroundings. Oh and the view out the living room window was the icing on the cake! Thank you for a great stay!

Our stay here was the best one we’ve had! The house was ABSOLUTELY beautiful!! The place was soooo clean! The bed was super comfortable as well! Overall, we loved our stay and can’t recommend the place more! Nothing but great things to say for this home!!

Stacey’s cabin was a beautiful getaway. The creek at the bottom of the hill was a labradors dream. The dogs loved it and my boyfriend and I had a spectacular time. Close to towns for any needs and still tucked away for relaxation. Stacey was an incredible host from response time to making the cabin felt like a home away from home! Would recommend for a nice short get away!

Very nice place to relax. You can even hear the river when you're outside. The facilities are great too! Valerie always responded quickly if asked and the instructions given in advance were accurate. I suggest it to anyone who wants to relax in solo mode or as a couple. 🙌🏼

Great accommodations in a great location.

Nice cozy place and nice host. May have to drive a bit to do certain activities, but it is worth it. The sauna is pretty cool too. Great value for price.

A perfect little place for a quiet getaway. Our goal was to get away from work and spend time together without screens. Peter and Deborah were wonderful hosts that made us feel at home. Our dogs loved romping around in the woods out back during our stay. We turned off our phones for the weekend and were perfectly cozy reading, playing games, and making art. We went into Farmington for a little while and loved walking through downtown and both of the book stores.

My friend & I stayed here as a getaway. We loved how off the grid this was. The place was very clean and well thought out for a small space. Everything we could have needed during our stay, they let us know beforehand so we never felt lost or confused. If I am ever in Vermont again, I would definitely love to stay here again. It was a flawless stay & such a good choice.

I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the local guidebook and extra blankets. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and soak in the beauty of the area. I can’t wait to come back!

It is now an annual tradition to stay in the peaceful, magical cabin. It is so meticulously decorated and maintained, I always discover something new and amazing. The new wood burning fireplace is another plus in a litany of many. Karen and Brian are amazing hosts. The outdoor shower works perfectly and the outdoor bathroom is fun and spotless. The surrounding outdoor space is private and unsurpassed. Fire pit. Outdoor grill, deck, forest, flowing brook on and on. Big giant TV although there's so much else to do and see. Treat yourself to rustic luxury. Brookside Cabin delivers... every time

Hubert's chalet is a haven of peace! The atmosphere is as warm as the welcome. We couldn't have expected better to spend two days in the middle of nature! I recommend it!

The stay was amazing! I was there with me 2 children for 4 days. Upon entering, Alexandre had created the lights. The view is amazing. All three have their own room with a lovely bed. Beautiful veranda, a jetty with a staircase where you can get into the water. On Saturday, Alexandre had left a canoe for us. We went to paddle with that. We come from the Netherlands, you don't have these kinds of beautiful spacious places with us. So that was extra enjoyment. I recommend it to everyone. I myself had stayed here much longer. Peace, space, beautiful surroundings, hiking, biking, etc. etc. I'd love to come back to this magical place again 🦋

We booked the cabin for two nights while attending a workshop in the area. It was very easy to access the space on our own using the provided key code. The cabin is located on a woodsy hillside. We were pleased to find it very clean, with solar powered lighting, a solar charging system for devices, and utensils/dishes/pots/pans in the kitchen. Plenty of gas and water for were provided for our stay. Hot water in the outdoor shower located a short walk downhill from the cabin - reliable and hot! Location to Burke and Willoughby is pretty good - about 10/15 minutes to either. We enjoyed the campfire space and hanging out inside exploring the bookshelf and games. Thanks for a very comfortable, charmingly rustic, spot to stay!
