The Cartlodge suited us very well as we simply wanted to be close to family. We didn’t meet Karen but instructions for getting there and getting in we’re all very clear. There was a small issue with the TV which was sorted out very quickly. Would definitely stay again.

Our recent stay here was a last minute booking as our home was being renovated, we arrived tired and frazzled. On arrival we found that the fridge had been stocked with provisions that enabled us to have a cup of tea and toast, it's these small acts of kindness that make all the difference. The apartment is comfortable, clean and the garden view is delightful. The hosts Jan and Dave can not be faulted! Considerate, quick to respond to any communication and friendly who made us feel welcomed. We would highly recommend a stay here.
