The Bear Creek Cabin sets on the edge of a hill overlooking the valley with seasonal Bear Creek below. There was an old hunting cabin at this location replaced by the current cabin. An old wagon road used to cross the property and we have found evidence of the long ago travelers. Just a peaceful location with no neighbors in sight. The living and kitchen area are surrounded by glass doors. In the area are Palo Pinto Mtns State Park soon to open and the Historic ghost town of Thurber.
