“I book ended my summer (May and September) at Yellow Birch Farm and plan to come back again. I completely wind down and disconnect from all that brings stress while exploring a pretty amazing corner of Maine (and New Brunswick). If you like simple yet all needs are met then this is a place for you.”
BRAND NEW LISTING!! NEWLY RENOVATED!! Located in the Easternmost town in the United States, this home-away-from-home is minutes from downtown Lubec. Less than 6 miles down the road you will find West Quoddy Lighthouse - the Eastern most lighthouse in the United States. We are located 5 minutes from the FDR memorial bridge that takes you to Campobello Island, NB Canada.
“We enjoyed our stay. Their home was beautiful, clean, and with nice amenities. It's a quick walk to explore the beach. If, like us, you love to watch the night sky, this is the perfect place. We saw satellites, meteors and so many stars! Just beautiful...and no mosquitoes due to the lovely ocean breeze! West Quoddy Head Lighthouse is a few minutes away. The only thing that was a "concern" for us (being of a certain older age) was that the stairs going up to the bedrooms were a bit steep so we did have to be mindful when using them but it wasn't a problem. Kristy was quick to answer our questions and very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back some day when the Canadian border is open again so we can go explore Campobello. Highly recommend!”
This is a comfortable 180 year old house, eclectically furnished, 2 blocks from downtown, across from what used to be the last sardine cannery. This is not "Sandals" or the "Plaza", but it is spacious and homey and only $100-150 a night for 5 bdrms & 2baths, a big kitchen. The beach access is 50 feet from the front door. Beaches in Eastport are not like the Bahamas. We have good wi-fi, and a Roku TV, but if you're lucky, you can watch whales from the sun room.
“Will's house was wonderful. He greeted us and gave us all the info about the house and the area which was very helpful. He provided everything we needed at the house and had lots of space for our family. The screened-in porch was a bonus as the ocean is right across the street. The house is on a very quiet street so is very private but beautiful views and an old-style home with lots of room. A wharf is within walking distance for great fishing as well as some local shops for unique souvenirs. There is also a variety of restaurants within walking distance and all in the same area. Walking paths along the ocean for a scenic change right down the road and the sound of the ocean at night was a bonus. We hope to visit there again in the future. Thank you, Will.”
