Had a lovely time staying at this place! We very much enjoyed the lovely beds, jacuzzi and barbecues; highly recommended as far as we are concerned!

We felt very comfortable there. Everything was as shown in the photos and communication went smoothly. The apartment is furnished and clean with a lot of love for detail. It was a bit too rural for us, but that was already foreseeable at the time of booking and has nothing to do with the accommodation itself:) within 15 minutes you are in Mons by car; otherwise the surroundings are very quiet. If you are looking for and like that, the apartment is perfect!

The place was as described and in a good, clean condition. We found the correct address from other reviews and then the accommodation was also easy to find. The accommodation is quietly located next to other houses, but you hardly heard of them. Only the surrounding agriculture could be heard and smelled. But not disturbing. There was ample space for 7 adults, swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and in good condition. The grill was fixed and fired with coal. We brought these ourselves. The bedding cost 80 euros for the entire property - double beds were covered with one blanket each. Check-in was easily possible via a key box and thus the arrival was flexible. We felt very comfortable at the place and found everything you need for a long weekend. There was no trace of the flies mentioned in other reviews (in early September). Everything was fine!

I will start by thanking Muriel's warm and friendly welcome and highlighting his flexibility with booking until the day before our arrival. The cottage is certainly located in the city center but there is parking nearby. The same goes for shops and the many walks in the area. The cottage is comfortable and in the event of any problems, the host is in the process of prevention. We had a great time in 2022 at 2023. We recommend this cottage and its host.

Spacious and pleasant accommodation, accommodating and very friendly hosts.

We enjoyed very much and had a nice stay with our group of 19 people. The house was spacious enough so that everyone had their own space, and it was cozily located in nature, with the Semois nearby. Joris was a nice and smooth host. Only downside: in most areas the network didn't work, only in one room there was good connection. Furthermore, definitely recommended!

A unforgettable stay! The Moulin du Rivage chalet is simply magical. Nestled in an exceptional natural setting (Tomb of the Giant), this is the perfect place to recharge. Everything was spotless: clean, well-equipped, warm. Peter's hospitality was impeccable! A very kind and thoughtful host. 100% recommend and would definitely stay again!

It is a beautiful house in a beautiful location with a large fenced garden. Behind it is the Lesse where you can canoe and a railway line converted into a bike path. Definitely recommended . We'd love to come back.

Karin is a very lovely Person, who made sure i got my Key and checked in regularly to see if everything was fine. The place itself is super cute with a thousand little details to see and admire everyday. The place tells so many stories with all its books, tiny figurines, postcards, pictures and posters that are spread through the whole house. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you Karin

Great host! The place was nice and clean with hiking opportunities but not many restaurants, café or bars are available around.

We had a very nice stay. Communication was good and clear. Cottage is large, everything to your liking. Beautiful environment, peace and private. We also got tips for the surroundings we used in advance. Recommended!!! Thanks again, we enjoyed 😊

Tastefully renovated old mansion, paradise for children. The 7 were between 1 and 9 years old. Aurelie and Pierre anticipated all the needs of children and adults: games for all ages, indoor and outdoor games, quality and over-equipped kitchen equipment, good bedding. Lots of space, lots of different rooms, and a huge kitchen makes you feel really comfortable in the house. The garden is like the house: a large garden, children's games, everything for the BBQ What more could you ask for? Pierre and Aurelie are very responsive, which is very nice. The only small downside is the sound insulation and lack of air in 2 bedrooms on the right wing of the building, which made it difficult to put the children to sleep. We had a great time with the family.

Beautiful secluded house for a nice weekend away with friends

We had a great stay at this property with three couples and two toddlers. The rooms were a little cramped with a crib, but perfectly adequate. The kitchen has the standard equipment of appliances – a delicious coffee machine kept us on foot, but should now be replaced (no one had reported to the hosts before). The surroundings and the ambience with a view of the castle are simply fantastic. In sunshine you can spend the whole day on the premises without getting boring. The dogs often roam freely and are very affectionate and playful, so wonderful for dog lovers! The sauna instructions could be a little more detailed, but after some we also got them to work. All in all, a great place to just unwind or spend time with friends or family. Would recommend to anyone!

We loved our stay at Jenny's place. We were kindly welcomed by Joseph and there were fresh flowers and something tasty ready for us! The house is as described in the listing and has a lovely spacious (shared) garden. Thanks for a great stay!

The four of us had a wonderful week at this beautiful spot right on the river. From your own terrace you look out over the domain, with a flowing stream, fine trampolines and playground for the children, a fire pit to roast marshmallows, a cozy scrambling pony, a nice swimming pool for the necessary cooling, and especially lots of greenery and tranquility. The cottage is clean, spacious and has nice beds. The owners are extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. You can also order delicious aperoshotels, wines and breakfast/lunch baskets from them. Behind the cottage you can walk into the woods. You could also very well stay here with several families or groups; there are several gites for rent and also a nice chateau. We have enjoyed it!

it's a really nice place for people who love being outside. it was really fun chilling in the swimming pool and watching the cows in the fields behind. The welcome was great and Caroline was very flexible in our time of arriving. We were able to pick some french mint from the garden as well.

Pleasant stay, nice gite, everything is fine, host easily accessible and available, got good tips,... definitely worth it!

Paule's place is great, very spacious, great views and very convenient for us. Good parking space and a good restaurant right around the corner. Paule was always responsive and always willing to help.

Didier was very friendly. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. We had the whole house at our disposal, with lovely comfortable living rooms. The bedrooms are on the upper floor. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean. We were 9 martial arts practitioners and we will definitely want to come back to the next Budo Event! Thanks!
