It has its own access into the church car park and a path that provides a two minute walk to the centre of the village and the award winning country pub 'The Horseshoe'. Church Path Cottage is ideal for those seeking peace and tranquility or as a base to explore South Wiltshire and Dorset. The New Forest, Studland Beach, Stonehenge & the Cities of Salisbury and Bath are all within an hour's drive.
“Just spent 2 happy nights at Louise’s cottage with our two young daughters. The cottage is spacious and very cosy. It was spotlessly clean and everything is new. Very well stocked for self catering and a great place with kids. Lots of interesting stuff to do/see in the area like Wardour Castle and the Messums Gallery. Highly recommend if you want to explore South Wilts.”
A self contained hilltop retreat with stunning panoramic rural views. The Pink Tower is a wooden octagonal building attached to the owners cottage on a working farm (pigs, sheep, arable). Set a quarter of a mile along the ancient OxDrove renowned for beautiful walks, it is situated right on the borders of Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire.
“The Pink Tower is a haven set amongst absolutely stunning chalk downs and fields. The pictures do not do it justice - the space is so inviting and it was wonderful to have breakfast on the balcony each morning and listen and watch the house martins. Cannot recommend this place enough; we had an amazing stay and Linda was a fantastic and accommodating host who pointed out some good walks for us to do. This is a perfect retreat for those who wish to unwind and be immersed in nature in a really magical and quiet location. We will be back soon I hope.”
A cosy, rural retreat in the beautiful Chalke Valley, just a 10 minute drive from the Cathedral City of Salisbury. Raglands Upper Mews is in the grounds of a family owned country house set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfect for getting away from it all and exploring the local countryside, Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge and much more. “The Mews house was perfect for the three of us: tidy and fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and enough space that we weren't on top of each other. The location is amazing for walking in Wiltshire and Dorset, with a lovely loop right outside the door. Jade was a generous and attentive host, and we would definitely recommend her place to anyone looking to stay in the area!”
