The B&B is an apartment with its own entrance, private shower/toilet room, and is within cycling distance of the station in Veendam, from where the train leaves for the beautiful city of Groningen. There is also a lot to see in the province itself. However, after a busy day, you will always return to the tranquility and space of B&B HoutStee. You can relax under the veranda, enjoy bird sounds. Possibly in good weather, use the BBQ. Everything is available for this. You also have 2 bicycles at your disposal.

The cottage is in the middle of the nature reserve "Ae's Woudbloem" and you can find a lot of beautiful bike/hiking trips. De blokhut staat in de grote tuin van Cremers' Pleats. Het is een knusse ruimte met veel privacy. Als het mooi weer is zoekt u een plek op het terras of onder de bomen. Er staat een theehuis in de tuin waar u koffie of thee kunt drinken. 's Avonds kunt u gezellig kampvuur stoken in de vuurkorf.
