My accommodation is in an authentic and quiet area, it is close to parks bordering the river allier, ideal for walks. Pont du Château is a small town close to the Auvergne capital, Clermont Ferrand, (15 minutes by A711) as well as the A75, A71, A89 motorways, it has several restaurants including 2 gourmet restaurants and 2 supermarkets. My apartment has been renovated, the decoration is nice and the bed very comfortable.

Old peasant house at the gates of Ravel Castle, located between Livradois Forez and Auvergne Volcanoes. This beautiful building hides the sweetness and charm of a home-made decoration. Pushing a door means discovering a specific atmosphere in each room. To take a look through the window is to offer a variety of horizons. Breakfast possible
“We had a lovely 2 night stop at the wonderful Gite de la Neira, on our way from Paris to Barcelona. The place is a lovely, rustic stone house, with plenty of space for our family of 6. It can be a little challenging to find it, since there was some annoying road block (as of July 2019). However, the place is very cozy, it has a fully equipped kitchen (which we used) and a professional grill that you can roast anything on (which was an extremely pleasant surprise). The area is very serene and pleasant, though you may find it a bit remote (depending on where you want to get to). Most importantly, Thierry and his wife were extremely nice and accommodating. PS be careful when you enter the gite - i banged my head twice on the stone beam (and I'm not a tall person...) PS2 to be clear, other than the entrance, the inside of the gite doesn't have low ceilings”
