Historic guest house at Gries 5

The late Gothic residential building from 1519 is the oldest, preserved residential building in the Untermhaus district & has been very elaborately restored & renovated in 4 years. The former building ruin has become a small gem. Particular emphasis was placed on the expansion with ecological building materials, such as clay & lime, clay paints. Many old historical components were reinstalled. During the dismantling work, another, hand-painted, approx. 500-year-old plank ceiling was discovered on the 2nd floor.

On the outskirts of Naumburg in the middle of the beautiful Saale Valley, I offer guests three apartments, all of which are in one house. (Ideal for larger groups of up to 15 guests). Here you can book apartment 3. This is in the house on the first floor and offers space for 4 guests with two double rooms. (2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom - just for your travel group) In the courtyard there is a cozy wooden hut for larger groups, a grill and lockable rooms for your bikes.

Located right on the edge of the famous Mühltal, it offers relaxation and tranquility, enjoys the view or uses the time for a forest walk. The apartment is a non-smoking apartment, but you are welcome to take a smoking break in the courtyard. Parking is available either on the premises itself or on the private parking lot 50 m away.

Surrounded by forest, meadows and the rippling Goldbach, the house is an ideal place for a break, creative workation or relaxed family time.
