We stayed at this property for a week as a family. It is large, rustic house with many bedrooms and cozy flair through the wood stove. Well-equipped kitchen for cooking for many people. The living area has a small couch for 2-3 people, so as a large group you are more likely to stay at the dining table. For children, the farm is an absolute dream, as there is a lot to discover, an old barn with hay balls, cats, chickens and a former cowshed. There are many hiking trails in the area, right next door is a forest. Highly recommended accommodation for families with children seeking tranquility and relaxation.

It was all as in the photo, we were in town in 5-10min by taxi and in 5min at the main train station. Host was very friendly and uncomplicated, very flexible and everything was very clean, towels and bedding were available. Only: unfortunately there were quite a lot of moths, we were not sure whether clothes moths or food moths. Otherwise, everything worked out great.

Wonderful, fully equipped house (it has literally EVERYTHING you might need!), spotless clean. Located close to the ski lifts. The host provided very detailed instructions including restaurant tips. Highly recommend!!!

We spent three nights at Viktor's place. The view is amazing and the place is really comfortable, has everything you need to feel at home! The house, as mentioned in the description, is only partially fenced, so some precautions are needed with the dog, but it's not a big problem as the house is quite isolated, the last one on the road. Our dog really enjoyed jumping around on the hills :) Thanks for everything, Viktor!

This place is really a gold mine. We felt immediately comfortable. The cottage was very clean and has everything you need. Even the hot pot was preheated. Birgit and Bernhard were very attentive and straightforward. Thanks for the lovely weekend!

Christian was very proactive, responsive and communication was stress-free with him. His apartment is big enough to host 6 people, has an amazing sunny balcony to enjoy breakfast with friends and has a very beautiful swimming pool in the courtyard. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a peaceful quiet time in Christkindl/Steyr.

We spent 5 wonderful days at Kaja's place. The bakery and small supermarket were very convenient. The area was quiet and we loved the balcony. The apartment was clean and the kitchen well equipped. We found the music box particularly practical and the greeting attentions were attentive. Parking at the house was relaxed. Sauna worked great. A small thing that certainly does not bother everyone is that you could not darken both windows in the bedroom. But otherwise it was great and we would come back again!

What a great place and experience. Wish we'd have stayed longer. A different kind of stay, complete with a beautiful eclectic environment - lush trees, herbs, hills, a few chickens and cats, lost of places to sit around, walk around, sounds of birds and nature - and a nice and interesting host. Looking forward to returning.

Very quiet and comfortable place, with great heating and clean furniture, everything looks new and welcoming. The host is responsive and always available. Great stay for the price, in excellent part of town, close to the store and inviting for a walk in the afternoon. The building is old, Shakespearean like, never before seen blend of modernity and past, the kitchen table overlooks the city and the Alps, having breakfast with purple sunrise will certainly stay in my memory.

We had a very nice stay with the family and especially enjoyed the large garden with plenty of space to relax and play. The property is beautiful and the house is equipped with everything you need. The welcome and farewell were warm – we felt completely comfortable.

We stayed in the forest hut for 2 weeks and already when we entered the cozy parlor we felt comfortable. The highlight is definitely the oven. At first, I missed a toaster, but we just roasted the bread in the pan. Everything you need is there. We only missed shower towels and the bathroom is really very small, yet everything worked out. The garden is large enough to play badminton and was grilled every other day in April. The fisherman in 5 minutes walking is an absolute recommendation and also two playgrounds are right there. In summer you can go swimming in the pond next to it. We didn't meet Lukas himself in person, but he was always quick to respond to questions. In addition, you have a lot of peace in the hut, you feel like driving 5 cars down the street or you can see a few walkers walking by. If you're looking for peace and nature, this is the place to be.

This place is refreshment in house form. For us, it's one of those very, very special corners of Austria where time slows down, birds say hi, and even the trees seem to whisper "relax." If you’ve been craving the soothing sound of a creek while you sleep — jackpot. If you’re into not seeing people — double jackpot. Want to hear birds chirp and the occasional deer casually strolling by like it owns the place? You’re in the right spot. BUT — if you prefer crowded resorts, poolside cocktails with umbrellas, and 24/7 buffets… maybe stay away. Nature lovers only! Also, shoutout to Vera, the host — super responsive, super calm, basically the human version of this peaceful place. We already miss it.

We were there the first week with 2 people and 2 dogs. The location is quiet and there are nice walking trails for the dogs. The apartment was great to reach. Parking is right on site. A nice, clean and well-maintained apartment with proper basic equipment in the kitchen. It's all functional and clean. A place to feel good and slow down from everyday life. 🙂
