From the living room and the bedroom, you can access a wooden deck with steps down to the garden and the dock. It is a scenic and secluded location, with houses nearby but not right next door. The proximity to Highway 32 makes it easy to get here. The road can be heard, but for the vast majority of guests, it is not perceived as a nuisance.

The cottage is close to hiking trails and lakes and by car close to the unique wooden town of Eksjö, the elk park in Skullaryd and Skurugata. If you want to go on a day trip, it is an hour to Astrid Lindgren's World. All rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier's cottage from the 1700s. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing opportunities are available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cottage.

Only 10 minutes to the unique wooden town of Eksjö and about 45 minutes to both Jönköping and Vimmerby (Astrid Lindgren's world). The car can be parked right by the property.
