Vacation rentals with a firepit in El Castillo

We all loved our stay! The place is so close to everything! We got to visit cloud forest and local shops. All of Nohelia’s food recommendations were spot on! She was even helping me plan things to do before we got there, which I really appreciated! Place was clean and decorated very cute. We were a small group, but I would love to visit again with more people because there was so much space. Thank you again!

Tobi was an amazing host and the Rainbow House was a perfect location. Quiet and set back from the busyness of town, we loved being on the edge the cloud forest. The cabin had the necessities plus incredible views and wildlife. Everything was as described and Tobi was super responsive to every question and need.

We had such a great stay at Julio’s Airbnb! The recommendations, responsiveness, kindness, and tour were FANTASTIC! We took our children on the horse tour, then the next morning we went on a tour at the Mistico hanging bridges. My kids much rather preferred the tour with the horses. 🙌 it was fun, it was informative, and engaging. Julio and Gabo were fantastic! We had a blast chatting, learning, and experiencing their family’s farm and other endeavors! Amazing!

My friends and I had a really good stay, and we loved the location and the house. However, somehow we were able to hear when the motorcycles pass by the house when we were sleeping in the middle of the night, and that would wake us up. Other than that, they were very responsive, helpful, property is very clean. extremely convenient as there is a store + coffee shop right across the street.

Amanda was a lovely host and was very responsive and attentive. You can tell she really put thought into her place. The location was super close to La Fortuna with a car. I recommend bringing some slippers as the metal stairs hurt your feet. Other than that, the place was really sweet with a great view.

Raquel’s place was amazing! Raquel was very responsive, kind and helpful. The home was great, very clean and cozy. The location is great as well! It’s a 10 minute walk to the grocery store, and a three minute walk to a great restaurant. I highly recommend staying here!

Greetings, I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We loved the views of the lake and mountains. The view from the living room is a constant reminder of the incredible natural beauty of Arenal. We enjoyed how the morning light fills the house, especially the main bedroom. We cooked almost every day. Great stove and a well equipped kitchen was a plus and saved us a lot of money. The house is cozy with great views. The grounds are beautiful and enhance the surrounding natural beauty. We really enjoyed the quiet comfort of the house and the environment you have created. Es un lugar rodeado de jardines, con arboles y se siente con mucha paz. El apartamento limpio y bien equipado. La atención fue extraordinaria. Me gustó lo seguro que queda el carro y lo centrico.

Juan's place was CLEAN, nice pots, pans, flatware, great fridge, BEAUTIFUL wood ceilings, comfortable couch, beautiful and clean bathroom. The wifi worked very well. Me and my guest were very impressed with the room. It is so clean that you can actually let your children sit and play on the floors. Juan was very accommodating. He kindly helped me by allowing me to do a late check-in. He was very responsive to my needs and questions. He suggested a great location to go eat and the food was good! This room is right near town. Definitely walkable to restaurants, stores, and places of interest in both directions! The cost of this room was well worth it! My only issue: No side tables in the bedrooms. There was nowhere to set my glasses or cell phone before bed time except on the shelf in front of the bed. No lamps in the bedrooms; you have to keep the bright ceiling lights on when it's late and you want to wind down. Lights had greenish hue. But this room was still awesome!

The place was clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. My family of five had a fantastic time, we felt right at home. The view from the balcony was truly breathtaking, and the location couldn’t have been better. So close to all the activities and great restaurants! 10/10 experience. We would 100,000% come back again!

Alexandra est une hôte incroyable. Nous avons passé 10 jours de rêve chez elle. Elle est disponible, attentionnée, gentille et j’en passe. Le logement est fonctionnel, avec une vue sur la jungle. C’est très calme, parfait pour un dépaysement et avoir de la tranquillité.Il est indispensable d’avoir une voiture car le logement n’est pas tout prêt du centre et des autres activités. Je recommande à 100% !

What a wonderful stay at Jonathan's place! So peaceful, with stunning views with place has everything you need and is super clean and cozy! We loved watching the lighting storms in the distance from the balcony. The place is a little challenging to find so I am glad we got there before sunset, but Jonathan was super helpful and patient helping us find our way to what was one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed at in Costa Rica. If you're looking for a spot outside of town away from it all and in the heart of nature, look no further! We will be back for sure!!!

La vue du balcon est tout simplement magnifique. Toutes les commoditiés y sont et la propreté est irréprochable. C'était notre deuxième séjour là bas, la cuisine est nouvellement rénovée et géniale. Vraiment nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner, la famille Silvio's a vraiment à coeur le bien de ses clients, vraiment la Casa Del Sol est extraordinaire!

A lovely house in the mountains with lots of big windows; bright, airy and offering stunning views! The house was even nicer than in the photos! It’s perfectly tucked away in nature, with no city noise, just the peaceful sounds of the cloudforest. We truly loved the tranquility of the place. You feel like you’re alone in the world, yet Monteverde is just a 10-minute drive away. Absolutely the best!

Ein wunderschöner Garten mit zahlreichen Tieren. Ein muss ist es bis in die Dunkelheit draußen zu sitzen. Eine tolle Unterkunft mit Flair. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

We had the best time ever! The place is absolutely beautiful, and was perfect for a getaway with my boyfriend. We own and manage several STR’s, and we got a ton of ideas from the beautiful cabin Justino and Eddy have built. We were so in love with the place we asked if we could build one there on the farm. It was a little slice of heaven! From our front porch (and from inside through the giant front window) we saw five different howler monkeys, a little monkey that looked like a squirrel, and a SLOTH that practically lived in the tree out front while we were there. We were even taken on a guided horseback tour of the entire community and farm! The place was absolutely amazing, and Justino, Eddy and their daughter made it perfect for us! They set up a powerful tripod for us to use to look at the sloth. They even taught us how to make chocolate! We even got to help! And we got to have some of the chocolate we made. Absolutely perfect! Can’t recommend enough. We’ll definitely be back

Christina is an amazing host! She is always responsive, and knows the area very well. The breakfasts were amazing and comprehensive. Being able to walk to dinner at Selina was great as well as Monteverde. Walking to an art gallery and family-fun cafetal (coffee farm), albeit down the mountain, was challenging yet awesome. Pura Vida!
