Vacation rentals with a fireplace in El Portil

Wir hatten drei wunderbare und entspannte Wochen im Haus von Tiago, das in einer sehr gepflegten Parkanlage liegt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat eine wunderschöne große Terrasse mit Sonne bis in den Nachmittag. Der Blick auf das dahinterliegende Feld mit alten Olivenbäumen ist sehr idyllisch. Tiago ist ein sehr angenehmer und liebenswerter Gesprächspartner. Wir würden immer wieder gerne unseren Urlaub in Tiago's Villa verbringen. Dagmar & Josef

Fuseta is a great place to stay if you want to explore the Rio Formosa. We were met by Iryna at the property who couldn’t have been more helpful and informative. The property was clean and well equipped with a lovely roof terrace overlooking the sea. It is on the outskirts of the town but is within a 15 minute walk of a selection of good restaurants and bars. We used the local train to travel both into Faro and towards the Spanish border and found the service both reliable and inexpensive. The weather during our stay wasn’t great but we enjoyed our holiday. The only negative point is that there is some building work in the vicinity( March2025) which detracted from what would otherwise be a great location overlooking the town, fields and sea.

We hebben genoten van ons korte verblijf in Casa Boa Vista. Het weer was voor februari geweldig, dus we hebben zelfs gebruik kunnen maken van het zwembad. De prachtige uitzichten doen de naam van het huis zeker eer aan! De communicatie met Gabriele en de beheerders verliep vlekkeloos. Zeer vriendelijk en altijd bereikbaar. Dank je wel dat we in jouw mooie huis mochten verblijven Gabriele. We hopen er in de toekomst graag nog eens terug te keren.

The villa had everything we wanted - with separate decking areas for different parts of the day depending on if you want sun or shade. All the hosts, Alex, Mildred and Emay were lovely and so helpful. We arrived very late after a long time at Faro airport (now that is a nightmare) and our sat nav initially taking us in the wrong direction, but we rang Alex who guided us in and didn’t fuss that we were late. The pool was great - we had an early August holiday so the dip was what we all needed every day (and night, it was beautiful for a midnight swim looking at the stars). We met both dogs who were very nice, and Lou, the big one, was super cute - my girls loved him! We often ate at home and the gas job and electric cooker was perfect for this. The air con was just what we needed too - so happy to have that to cool down. Didn’t use the TV as it was so lovely sitting outside enjoying the peaceful surroundings and sounds of the cicadas. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay.

A casa de José e Cátia é muito aconchegante e ainda tem 2 terraços maravilhosos!! A comunicação com José foi excelente. Ele nos recebeu com muita alegria. Estávamos perto de tudo, do festival, da praia, dos restaurantes, mercadinhos… amei passar esses dias na Fuseta e tocar no festival. Obrigada!! E espero voltar a vossa casa na Fuseta!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem wunderschönen Haus von Jan und Marie. Der Pool und die Aussicht auf den Garten mit dem schön angelegte Beeten war toll. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und man kann von dort aus viele schöne Ausflüge machen. Die direkte Umgebung ist auch sehr schön zum Wandern und Laufen.

Merveilleuse petite maison typique...décorée avec soin et goût. Endroit paisible et proche de tout. Hôtes réactifs. Allez y les yeux fermés et puis ouvrez les !!! on a adoré 🌸

Had a really enjoyable stay, the house was very close to cafes, bars, restaurants and the beach. Only thing I struggled with, the bed we slept in was very hard, would have been nice to have a memory foam topper. I know that’s personal to everyone, but that would be my only wish.

Vielen Dank für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt. Es war toll, in einem so ursprünglichen Haus wohnen zu dürfen. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Super für Familien mit Kind geeignet.

In our travels through Portugal, this was absolutely the best place we stayed. Marcio’s place is very spacious, very clean, and has the feeling of being in a real home. There is a large outdoor patio where we enjoyed hanging out. And even though we were in a central location, the apartment was peaceful and quiet. Marcio was very easy to communicate with, and even when we locked ourselves out of the apartment, he was extremely kind and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was fabulous!!

Wir hatten als dreiköpfige Familie eine sehr schöne Woche in Casa Regina, Wohnung 2. Wir konnten auf der großen Terrasse angenehm sitzen. Die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Pool und Garten konnten wir schön nutzen. Waschmaschine super. Andrew und seine Mutter Lurdes waren sehr reaktionsschnell und kommunikativ. Bei Problemen mit der Dusche wurde schnell reagiert und es gab als kleine Entschädigung Kekse und Wein. Bei der Buchung weist Andrew auch darauf hin, dass es eine ruhige Wohneinheit ist. Es ist tatsächlich wichtig, dies zu berücksichtigen, da die Wohnungen recht eng aneinander liegen. Wohnung 3 grenzt an das große Schlafzimmer an und je nach Nachbarn kann es auch etwas hellhörig sein. Man hört auch immer mal die Straße, nachts ist es jedoch relativ ruhig und auch am Pool ist es idyllisch. Es ist noch zu erwähnen, dass der Eingang von Wohnung 1 auf die Terrasse von Wohnung 2 führt. Wir hatten sehr nette Nachbarn, so dass es für uns nicht weiter störend war.

Fantastic stay in Fuseta! The apartment is bright and spacious with everything you need provided. Loved watching the sunrise from the balcony. Very close to the beach, great restaurants and cafes. The train station is also close by, giving you easy access to explore the Algarve. Duarte is an excellent host, always quick to reply and provides detailed information, totally stress-free from booking to departure. Highly recommend! We’ll be back :)

A casa está muito bem localizada, perto da marginal e dos barcos, mas num local muito sossegado. A casa estava bastante limpa e com todas as comodidades..

Pedro's apartment was ideally located in the picturesque coastal town of Cabanas, close to Tavira. The access to the Golden Club's facilities made it such good value. Pedro was quick to reply & friendly. We will be back, Des & Laura.

We hebben 4 geweldige dagen gehad in Casa Nanna. Het huis/appartement ligt op een super locatie. Midden in het hele leuke stadje Tariva met veel gezellige restaurants. Het appartement ziet er goed uit, heel sfeervol. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een fijn verblijf is aanwezig. Als je aan de eettafel zit kijk je via het romantische raam/balkon zo op de 'hoofdstraat'. Het weer was niet echt geweldig toen wij er waren dus hebben we niet op het (kleine) balkon kunnen zitten. Wel heerlijk gebruik gemaakt van de hout kachel. Boekje lezen op de bank met de houtkachel aan :) Schuin tegenover het appartement zit een (Portugese) bakker. Waar je heerlijk vers brood kunt halen - ieder dag open! Op loopafstand is de haven waar de ferry vertrekt naar Tavira Island. Voor een paar euro sta je binnen een kwartier op Tavira Island. Echt leuk om te doen. Prachtig langgerekt strand met een aantal restaurantjes. En ook ligbedjes op het strand. Kortom, Casa Nanna is een aanrader!!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Tamsin's house, perfect position 5 mins walk from everything in a peaceful location. The house is even bigger than it looks on the photos, all the rooms are very spacious, comfy beds, good showers and the pool and garden are beautiful. We loved our stay and would definitely return. Tamsin was very flexible with check in times and departure which was a great help. Thanks

Helder’s home was perfect for our needs. It was spacious and well equipped with very comfortable beds. The house was in a very residential area with two shops and a small cafe nearby Helder was really good at communicating and responding to messages. The pool was not working when we were there, and the garden was in the middle of building works so it wasn’t very attractive to look at from the house. Apart from that we had a wonderful stay. .

I had a perfect stay at Jan’s beautiful house in the hills. It’s located very nicely, a bit hidden in the middle of some beautiful nature and little villages. Big recommendation!

Hemos estado bien en este alojamiento. Coincidía con la descripción. Tenía una piscina muy bonita y estaba bien equipado. Por decir algún inconveniente, la ubicación es algo retirada, pero si buscas tranquilidad este es tu sitio.

Alojamiento muy agradable. Corresponde a la descripción. Lugar tranquilo, con preciosas vistas. La casa está bien equipada y los anfitriones son personas muy agradables y atentas para ofrecer un buen servicio y responder a cualquier necesidad o pregunta de los huéspedes.

Die Unterkunft war einfach großartig – sehr komfortabel und gut erreichbar. Uns war nun auch klar, warum das Haus so eine gute Bewertung hat. Die Zimmer waren extrem geräumig und makellos sauber. Schon beim Eintreten fühlte man sich sofort wie zu Hause. Für kleine Kinder und Babys gibt es wirklich alle notwendigen Utensilien von Gitterbett, Kinderstuhl fürs Essen und sogar eine Wickelunterlage. Der Pool war großzügig, gut betreut und die Liegestühle wirklich toll. Wir hätten uns nur gewünscht, während der Sommermonate dort gewesen zu sein, um das alles noch mehr genießen zu können. Die Stadt war ruhig, aber dennoch nah an allem, was wir brauchten. Ein Mietauto ist empfehlenswert, aber nicht unbedingt notwendig. Joana war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns bei allem schnell geholfen. Vielen Dank, Joana!

Das Haus ist genau wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Sehr geräumig, gut eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und wunderbar sauber. Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut, nah zum Strand, aber dennoch sehr ruhig. Unkomplizierter Check-in und Check-out. Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

A lovely villa , close to some good bars and cafes. The ferry over to the beach was quick , frequent and easy
