Vacation rentals with a firepit in Embalse del Neusa

Weekend with the whole family . My Persian kitten had a great time . Wonderful place. Diana, the lady who collaborated with us excellent, always attentive and helpful. We celebrated my husband's birthday as a family, around the marshmallower fireplace, we also did a roast in the bbq area. Very good location on cold ground. We slept very well. Showers of the two bathrooms very comfortable and good water ( although it was sometimes very hot). At the Finca we buy the eggs. that could be of a better price, as they are very expensive. We made a family tick tick, which we stayed super , hopefully they could see it. thank you, we had a great time. As a suggestion there are two details that can be improved: the carpet is already for change as well as the mattress of the nido, which I understand is very useful for the pet. Again, I repeat , all my family, children, young people and adults all very happy to have found this place and above all for being able to have Diana, the lady in charge

Lugar belleo, surrounded by nature to disconnect from the city. The house is beautiful, spotless and well maintained. The host is extremely friendly, pending and willing to address any issues.

The house is just as Rosa described it. The view of the reservoir is a must ! We had a great time and both Rosa (host) and Rodrigo (who received us and was always pending) were very kind. We don't feel cold at any time the chimneys (outside or indoors ) do a great job.

I loved the house , very nice and quiet . We had a very happy time in the company of my family . Isabel is an excellent host .

We booked the house for a family Christmas and New Year’s vacation. Mary’s house was the perfect fit. She made us feel right at home. We had the greatest time thank you very much to Mary.

Everything was as expected and the friendliness and hospitality were next to none. Everything Karen and Samuel did from offering breakfast service to making us feel at home was more than we could have asked for. However, there are a few things to keep in mind that are just quirks of being in the boonies: the reception is spotty at best inside the house due to the construction materials, and the WiFi is mostly unavailable and slow due to being in the mountains (don’t expect to get anything done, just enjoy the views and seclusion this place offers), Uber/DiDi/Cabify are nearly impossible to get after dark if you want to leave and people are hesitant to take you back (tell the driver they won’t have to pay the toll on the way back from Chia), and lastly there is no hot water (particularly if you’re coming from the US technically hot by Colombian standards). Stay here if you want to unplug, enjoy nature, and take cold(er than expected) showers.

Excellent host Camila and Manuel, the two of us helped a lot throughout the stay. The house was very clean, and with very unique architecture. All the rooms were very well equipped and counted their own bathroom which we thought was very good.

A very nice place. Hipólito and the local team have gone above and beyond to provide a pleasant space both indoors and outdoors. To fully enjoy the place, it is worth visiting in a sunny day, since it could be cold (wearing a jacket and umbrella is important). The area is quite quiet, although there is light and heavy vehicle traffic due to the proximity of the road. The staff is willing, hospitable and generous, they are attentive to what is required. It is easy to reach both by private vehicle and public transport since it is on the main road, however, if you want to tour the area, which has restaurants, hot springs and spas and some nearby populations it will be much easier to use your own vehicle since the distances are not short. Thank you for your help, I would definitely come back.

Thanks to Gloria for all the attention to any request for our comfortable stay,...the place meets all expectations,...comfort, toilet , space, location. Surveillance staff are always attentive and kind. Definitely 100% recommended for short or long stays for work, study or tourism purposes.

Very conveniently located and equipped with everything you need.

Place is nice, everything needed is there, a kittle bit of noise from the construction in front during the day but really nice place, comfy bed and desk, what you need to cook was there. Be aware opening the window in the morning will refresh the apartment nicely the entire day. There is a billiard table and also a air disk game to use it. Safe location, walking distance to stores. Very nice place

Excellent in every aspect, a modern and spacious place, included parking. Well located close to everything and overlooking the spectacular savannah. Also Erik was very kind and responsive. Definitely a super recommended place, ten out of ten !

A great Persona gladys If you want to feel at home friendly and spoiled, this is the place for you . I came with my pets , they really enjoyed it! Delicious breakfast and always attentive to everything . I came to rest for a few days , slept delicious and everything was very quiet . I didn't go out to restaurants or anything but the town of I have is 10 minutes away ! Or less ! And there is Uber or taxi service!

Hernan and Ana Maria were incredibly responsible, hospitable, and friendly hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The cabin itself was cozy, peaceful, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were absolutely breathtaking—truly a perfect place to relax and unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Great stay and a very relaxing place. They have everything you need to cook (plates, glasses, pots/pans and an outdoor gas BBQ. There was plenty of firewood available for the small stove which heats the house well at night. The house is high up on the mountain and has a great view of lake. The host lives in the house next door and it is best to have her meet you if possible on arrival. Directions to the house can be complicated so get in touch with the host and she will explain everything. We enjoyed the place very much!!!!

It's a wonderful place, to meditate, rest, walk, read. The most beautiful thing was storm ( the neighbor's dog), visited us, playful. Andres was always attentive. I hope to return soon. Thank you!

Very well located cabin with delicious restaurants 15min by car. It is perfect fenced for carrying pets, it is very private and welcoming. Sebastian and Aura's attention was excellent, always ready to answer questions. I would definitely come back :)

I want to deeply thank Maria Fernanda for being an exceptional host during our weekend at Refugio Arcadia. This place is simply magical: nature is present in all its splendor, with the singing of the birds, the sound of the river and an atmosphere of peace and tranquility that is felt in every corner. Every detail has been cared for with love and respect for the environment, offering an ecological, natural space full of a wonderful energy that invites deep connection with nature. Also, Corcho, his lovely dog, was a perfect companion and guide, making us feel even more welcome. Refugio Arcadia is a 10 out of 10 destination, absolutely recommended, and I only have words of gratitude left for having given us the opportunity to know such a beautiful place. Thank you very much!
